After this morning's...events, we headed straight to the store so we can get everything for tonight.

I wore a Strawberry Shortcake sweatshirt with a collared shirt underneath, to cover the mark that daddy left on my neck. When I noticed it in the mirror, he smiled and said it was a sign that he owned me. It sent shivers down my spine in the best way.

So far we'd gathered some board games, lots of different snacks, and even some kites since it was a little windy.

Daddy decided to have his friends over for some beers and video games, while we had our playdate. So we had to get extra of everything just in case.

"The babies need beer too." I point out while he put a big pack of alcohol into the shopping cart.

"Nice try, sweetheart." He smiles and boops my nose.

Rude!

While daddy examined the other beer options, I decided to venture off. We had passed the toys a few minutes ago and he said I could look at them before we head to check out.

We were basically done though, so I shouldn't get in trouble...right?

I couldn't help but gasp out loud when I spotted the cutest bat stuffie. It had adorable little fangs and its wings were spread out. I was so distracted by the cuteness that I didn't notice the presence behind me.

Startled, I jumped back against the shelf of toys and met the eyes of a man. He seemed familiar but I wasn't too sure. All I knew was he was smiling quite creepily and way too close for comfort.

"It's nice to see that cute face again. Sage, right?" He asks, his grin never wavering.

Oh yeah! He was the guy from Lori's party. The one that...

Oh no.

"Are you here alone?" He looks around. I realized I hadn't said anything so I clear my throat.

"N-no. I'm here with my d-" I stopped. "With Kovan."

"That's still a thing, huh?" He chuckles humorlessly. "What a shame. Although, I do like taking things from others."

I frown. "I'm not a thing."

This guy was about to get pummeled!

His confidence was scary. I could admit he was handsome but nothing compared to daddy. This guy was wearing a leather jacket over a white t shirt and his hair was slicked back.

His pants didn't really go with the outfit but hey, I ran around the house in tutu's and daddy's t-shirts so who was I to judge?

"You'd love to be my thing." His grin becomes menacing, but he had nothing on my glare.

"You're cocky and mean. Nobody would wanna be your anything. Good day to you, sir." I turn to leave but pause. "You know what? No good day to you, sir."

When I turn back to actually leave, daddy is standing there in all his glory. His very angry glory.

"Sage." He says seriously before looking at the man.

"Hey, Deleon. I ran into your girl."

That ugly, ugly bastard...

"I see that." Daddy says and puts his arm around my waist.

Without another word, daddy leads us away from the man. No goodbye given. I did manage to catch a glimpse of his evil eyes before we departed.

"Daddy, look-" I go to show him the bat stuffie but then realize I'm in trouble.
