"Morning my sweet girl" I heard her whisper as I opened my eyes. I nuzzled into her neck. "Morning Delia" I smiled up at her. "You look so beautiful" she said, planting a kiss on my forehead. "Stop lying!" I said, burying my face in the pillows.

We heard a knock on the door, "Y/N could you go get that? I think it's one of the new girls" Delia asked me. "Looking like this?" I asked. "Here, I'll sort it" she whispered, using her powers to make me look more presentable. I kissed her on the cheek and went down to answer the door.

"Hi! Welcome to Robichaux Academy, I'm Y/N... deputy headmistress" I greeted the brunette standing before me. "It's lovely to meet you, Y/N. I'm Mallory" she smiled. I stood observing her face, "have we met before?" I asked as she looked extremely familiar. "I guess I just have one of those faces" she chuckled.

We laughed it off and I invited her inside. "So... how did you find your way to us?" I asked her as we made our way to Delia's office. "I saw Ms. Goode on TV and somehow knew this was where I needed to be. My parents caught me floating in my sleep, and now they think I'm some type of devil worshipper" she sighed.

"Sweetie I'm sorry" I said sympathetically, placing my hand on her shoulder as we made it to Delia's office. "Maybe we can be your new home" I smiled as I opened the door.

"Ah, you must be Mallory" Delia greeted the girl, standing up to shake her hand. "I've heard a lot about you Ms. Goode" she smiled. "Please, just call me Cordelia" she insisted.

"Would you like a tour Mallory?" I asked the young girl. She nodded eagerly and I led her into the main room in the house so that Delia could get on with her work. "Here is where we all gather for social reasons or if we need to hold a meeting. It's connected to the kitchen and dining room so you can see we spend a lot of time in here" I smiled, showing her the classrooms, greenhouse and finally her room.

"This is where you will be staying" I said as I opened the door. "This was my old room" I chuckled. "It's a lovely room" she whispered as she looked around. "Where do you stay now?" she asked. I paused for a second before answering, "Everyone here already knows so it's best no secrets are kept. I stay with Cordelia" I smiled sweetly.

She nodded, without saying a word. I just watched from the doorframe as she wandered around her new room. "I'm sorry if I'm pressing on this matter but I strongly believe that we have met before" I said suddenly, with a shy chuckle. Mallory just looked at me, as if she was trying to piece a puzzle together. "I'm sure I know you" I said, slowly making my way towards her.

She began to back away, "I don't think we have met before, Miss Y/N" she gave me a soft smile. I decided it would be best to let it be... for now. "I'll see you in an hour for dinner, Mallory" I smiled at her before leaving her to unpack.

I opened the door to my room and found Delia in the armchair reading. "How's she settling in?" she asked, without looking up from her book. "Good! She likes her new room which is good, I don't know if she's met any of the girls yet though" I sighed. "What's up?" Delia asked, walking over to hug me. "I feel like I've seen her somewhere before... she's adamant that we've never met" I shrugged. "Hmm... that's strange" she agreed. "Maybe I'm just being silly" I chuckled. "You, silly? Never" Delia laughed. I playfully hit her, "I love you Cordelia" I whispered. "I love you more Y/N"
