Unexpected Love

Chase and Rocky's Beach day.

It was 5:55 A.M in Adventure Bay and Chase was just waking up to do his morning routine for the day.

Chase's P.O.V

Now that I am awake, it is time to start my training before I wake the other pups up.  Today is the day I ask Rocky to spend the day at the beach with just me and him; and I will end the beach day by finally telling him my true feelings about him, hopefully he feels the same about me. Today my training will include: running the obstacle course, shooting targets with my tennis ball launcher and catching falling things with my net. After all my training for the morning, my time on the obstacle course was 4 minutes and 45 seconds; I hit 7 out of 10 targets with my tennis ball launcher and caught 5 out of 6 falling objects with my net. It is now 6:59 A.M so I go into the lookout and check in with Ryder before I wake the pups up. Morning Ryder sir morning Chase how was training this morning said Ryder it was good and before I go wake up the pups up can I talk to you about something? Sure thing Chase, you can tell me anything replied Ryder. Well you see for awhile now I have had feeling's for Rocky and I was wondering if Rocky and I could have the day off so I can take him to the beach for the day?  While at the beach I was going to tell him my feelings for him. There is nothing to be ashamed of Chase you know I will never be mad with you. I love all my pups the same no matter who they are and sure you and Rocky can have the day off, I hope everything goes all right for you today and I won't judge you, and neither will the other pups because we all are like family replied Ryder. Thanks so much Ryder, I will go wake the other pups up now while you get breakfast ready. So I walk to my pup house so I can get my pup pack, then I went to the middle of the yard and bark for my megaphone to come out then I say time to wake up Marshall, Rubble, Skye, zuma and Rocky!

Rocky's P.O.V  

I wake up hearing the voice of my crush so I get up and exit my pup house; and I watch as all the other pups pass by me on the way to get our breakfast. As I enter the lookout I notice that my food bowl is next to Chase's today that makes me very happy good morning Chase how are you hey Rocky I am good by the way would you like to spend the day at the beach with me today I asked Ryder and he said we can have the day off. Thinking to myself, I can't believe that Chase want's to spend the day at the beach with just him and I  so Rocky what do you say asked Chase I would love to spend the day at the beach with you Chase. That is great we can get ready to go after breakfast. After Chase and I finished eating we gathered our stuff and headed towards the beach.

On the way to the beach Rocky turned towards Chase with a shy glance and ruby red cheeks and then quickly looked away when Chase looked towards him but Rocky did not notice that Chase was also blushing at Rocky.

Chase's P.O.V

So Rocky what do you want to do first? Chase asked anxiously as he tried not to stare into Rocky's emerald green eyes. What do you think about building a sand castle with a moat, because a castle is nothing without a moat right Chase. You know you are right lets build a sand castle, today is all about you! Really Chase today is all about me asked Rocky? Yes it is Rocky and later I want to talk to you about something during lunch said Chase.

After about 2 hours of building the best sand castle ever Chase and Rocky decided to go to Mr. Porter for lunch.

Rocky's P.O.V

So Chase what are you going to do about your hoodie it is covered in sand? It's alright I brought a spare in my bag so I will change before we go to Mr. Porter's I'll be back in a minute just wait here. Ok Chase I will wait right here for you, while Chase was gone Rocky was thinking to himself I wonder what Chase wants to talk to me about and I wonder why Chase is always wearing a hoodie, will he tell me one day? Alright Rocky we can go ahead and go get lunch.

When Rocky and Chase got to Mr. Porter's they sat down and ate there lunch after eating they were caught staring deeply into each others eyes.

Chase's P.O.V

So Rocky can I tell you something and not have you get mad at me? You can tell me anything and I will never get mad at you replied Rocky. Ok then here goes nothing so Rocky for a long time now I have kept this a secret but I can't anymore I have strong feeling's for you Rocky. Well I also have strong feeling's about you Chase I just did not know how to tell you replied Rocky with a sense of relief in his voice. So Rocky would you like to be my boyfriend? Asked Chase. I would love to Chase that is all I ever wanted replied Rocky, you have made me so happy right now you know that Rocky.

So for the rest of the day Chase and Rocky were talking till it was time to go to the lookout for dinner.
