Physical Therapy

After finding out who Chase's parents were, and that Chase and Rocky will eventually have the same powers as Chase's parents; they had a lot to think about but first Chase has a long road ahead of him or so he thought.

Chase's P.O.V

I was jolted awake by some bad pain Ow! Chase what's wrong? Sorry I woke you up but my leg is hurting so bad ! I answered. It is ok Chase, I will hit the nurse's button for you replied Rocky.  Thank you Rocky, and again I am so sorry for waking you up.  Don't worry about it Chase that is what I am here for replied Rocky.

So Rocky pressed the nurse's button and asked for a nurse and as Rocky finished talking to the nurse, Eden, Sarah and Dr. Grant walked into Chase's room.

Dr. Grant's P.O.V

Good morning Chase, I ran into your parents on my way in and I came to tell you that now that the swelling has gone down in your leg I need to get a X-ray so we can access the damage.  When will he get his X-ray? asked Eden. Well, we will take him right away if that is okay? Yes it's ok but how long will it take?  I don't want to be away from Rocky for long said Chase. It will only take about a half hour or so. 

So a couple of nurse's came into Chase's room and they took him to get his X-ray. When they got to the X-ray room and took the X-ray Dr. Grant looked at the film and he had some bad news. He went to talk to Eden, Sarah, Chase and Rocky. So he headed back to Chase's room and knocked on the door to his room.

Chase's P.O.V 

Rocky I am nervous about what the X-ray will show about my leg. It's okay Chase, we will get through anything that come's our way!  You know I am not going anywhere.  Rocky gives Chase a kiss. Thank you Rocky, that means a lot. As he returned the kiss , there was a knock on his door. Come on in I replied nervously.  Well Chase, I have some bad news to tell you and your parents. What does the X-ray show Dr. Grant? asked Sarah.  I am sorry to tell you all this but the X-ray showed that Chase's leg was broken in two place's.  He will need to go to surgery to put it back in place and put some pins in his leg so he can heal properly replied Dr. Grant.  Will my leg heal enough so I can continue on my missions? I asked, curious if I will have to retire from the Paw Patrol.  You can go back to work after some physical therapy replied Dr. Grant. When will his surgery be asked Rocky? As soon as I get a  orthopedic surgeon here which might be awhile but it will most likely be later today or tomorrow at the latest replied Dr. Grant. Thank you for letting us know.

Rocky's P.O.V

It's  okay Chase you don't have to worry about this, we will get through it so let's just calm down.  You need to rest your leg so it wont be in any pain. Ok, I just wonder if I will ever able to go on missions again replied Chase. Remember what Dr. Grant said, you will be able to go on missions after you complete physical therapy.  Don't you worry because your parents and I will be with you all the way! You are the best thing that has happened to me and I love you so much Rocky replied.  I love you too! Can I get you anything? Rocky asked.  I am kind of thirsty, can you ask a nurse if I can have some water or juice asked Chase. I'll be right back,  I I will go find a nurse and ask for a drink for you.  I left Chase's room and went to the nurse's station; hello?? May I help you asked the nurse.  I am Chase's Dally's boyfriend and he wanted to know if he can have some apple juice because he is thirsty. I can definitely get him some apple juice would you like anything to drink while I am at it asked the nurse? I guess I could use some orange juice. I will get those drinks for you and Chase replied the nurse.
