Mae's POV
I was walking downstairs to the basement to get something.I reach the basement and what I saw something that just change my life forever.
I saw my mother hanging from a rope.
I fell to my knees and sobbed and sobbed then I heard footsteps coming down and I saw Harry he did the same thing I did we both cried into each other's arms.
***END OF FLASHBACK***
**A YEAR LATER***
it's been a year sense my mother died it just seems like yesterday I saw her lifeless body hanging from a rope.
I'm still not getting over it,I should of been the person hanging from the rope.
Not my mother.
My mother was and still is everything to me she was my best friend.
I woke up and just laid there and thought about my mother and how we would watch old time movies and laugh at my silliness. While I was thinking of the good times my eye started to fill with tears then I let them fall from my eyes. I put the covers over me and cried and cried, then I felt my bed dip a little and I felt big strong arm around me and I cuddle up to the body next to me and I already knew who it was
Harry my brother
Harry is the only person I live with,after my mom died my dad was started to abuse me and Harry so Harry called the police and took him away (Harry is 20 so he can take custody of Mae now✌🏻️)
"I miss her Harry. I can't live like this anymore" I told him
"I miss her too but you have to be strong Mae and you know what something good might come out of this...you might even have нσρє" Harry tells me while trying to calm me down
"Oh trust me I'm not gonna get no нσρє out of this Harry it's all my fault that mom is dead" I said then I put my head down.
Then Harry pulls my chin up so I could see his face and his pretty green eyes
"Don't you EVER say that again Mae that had NOTHING to do with you mom was just going through some stuff and she got very upset and she couldn't take anymore but I know she loved us and she still does Mae and NOTHING will change that" Harry tells me while playing with my hair
I nodded and put my face into his chest.
"I love you big brother"
"I love u too little sister"
