THIRD PERSON POV:
In the following weeks, Elijah's mates and Ophelia grew a close relation. They were now locals in Ophelia's house, her mother not being surprised any time they came to Lia's house, she had gotten used to it.
"Bobby, could you pass me the controller, it's right on top of the desk." Ophelia asked the younger boy.
"Yeah, sure, no problem, 'Phelia." Rob said while passing the controller to the girl.
"'Phelia...? Well, that's new." A chuckle leaving her mouth while saying it. "Anyways, what do you guys want to watch?" Asked Lia with a bored face on her face.
"Hmm, how about, Father Ted?" Asked Ryan.
"Father what? Will someone explain to me what that is, please." Ophelia was very interested in whatever that was.
"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT FATHER TED IS?!" Screamed the three boys that she calls her friends.
"Well, no. I thought that was apparent. But I'm interested as to what it is." Ophelia shrugged while putting her hands up. "I'm seriously interested, this is not a cheap joke."
Elijah, who was right beside her, put an arm over her and told her, "It's not as if this show wasn't one of the greatest things Ireland has done. Ophelia, I love you, but this, oh my God, this is unacceptable, and we should immediately make you cultured." The boys were truly offended.
"Oh, Lia, you have so much to learn." Said Ryan. "Father Ted, is this show about three fathers, Ted, Jack, and Dougal, and we also have Mrs. Doyle, who serves the tea, they live together on an island, here in Ireland, called Craggy Island. Of course, the Island itself is not real, but that is truly all you have to know about Father Ted. It is truly hilarious."
"That sounds interesting. Sure. We'll watch it." Ophelia said while trying to find the tv show the three irish boys loved so much. "Ok! Found it." She played the tv show and put the controller on her night stand.
★ A FEW MINUTES PASS ★
Between laughs and everything the episode had come to an end "Ok, Mrs. Doyle is stronger than me. I aspire to be like her. Oh my Lord!! Call me Little Doyle in her honour when you think I need it." Ophelia said excitedly. She really enjoyed the first episode of the show, it really did bring out some laughs from the four teenagers, even though three of them had already watched the show millions of times.
Eli decided to state his current feelings, "Thank God you liked the show, Lia. I don't know what I would've done with you if you didn't like it. Too much to even think about." He started acting as if he was heartbroken, not a very good actor he is.
Ophelia immediately had to say something about his acting. "Eli, I think you should leave the acting to your sister, you're terrible." There, she said it. What everyone was thinking about but wouldn't say.
"Oh, Ophelia, shut up!" Her friend was annoyed at her for the moment. Both of them had forgotten there were other two people present with them.
"ROB! RYAN! I'M SORRY!!!! how's the lot of you?" Lia was clearly very ashamed to have made them feel left out, those were not her intentions.
"We're grand 'Phelia. How are you?" Asked Robert.
Ophelia responded to Bobby with a cheeky smile. "I'm good too! That's good." Meanwhile, Ryan seemed to be distracted by Lia's posters.
"Lia, why didn't you tell us you liked The Strokes?!" Ryan asked with excitement. "WAIT! Do you guys like them too?! Like I knew Eli did, but so do you guys?!" Ophelia responded to Ryan's question, sharing his excitement. The two boys nodded. "That's awesome guys!! Do you want me to show you my collection of The Strokes?!"
"Ah, yes! You guys would like it." Elijah said, remembering when the girl showed him her collection.
"Here, look!" Ophelia had the five albums of The Strokes. Ophelia had the two versions of 'Is this It?' The one with the original album cover and the one with the blue and yellow cover. She also had a cd of Hard to Explain/New York City Cops. She loved The Strokes so much.
"Wow, Ophelia, you really are a fan." Robert said. "Officially the bestest person ever confirmed." He got up the little couch he was on and bowed down to Lia.
"I get a bow and everything. If this isn't the best day ever." The girl really felt as if she belonged. It didn't matter that they were all boys, she was glad she had someone to talk to and just someone that was there for her. She appreciated those three Irish boys for coming into her life so soon.
