Luz woke up in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat. She had just had the worst nightmare of her life, and she couldn't shake the feeling of terror that had clung to her even in her sleep. She knew that Eda would always be there to comfort her in times like this, but tonight, something inside her compelled her to seek the aid of someone else — Lilith.
Luz had always been slightly intimidated by Lilith, but she respected her intelligence and strength. Despite her initial hesitation, she knew that there was something about Lilith that made her feel safe and secure, even in the midst of her nightmares. So she went to Lilith's room, knocked softly on the door, and waited for her to answer.
To her surprise, Lilith opened the door and welcomed her in with a gentle smile. "What brings you here, Luz?" Lilith asked.
Luz hesitated for a moment, then explained about her nightmare and how it had left her feeling scared and vulnerable. To her surprise, Lilith listened patiently and asked questions, trying to understand the source of Luz's fears. As they talked, Luz began to feel a sense of calm and comfort wash over her — something she had never experienced before.
After a while, Lilith asked Luz if she wanted to sleep in her room for the night, and Luz gratefully accepted. With Lilith by her side, Luz was able to drift off into a peaceful slumber, reassured that she was not alone in her fears and that there were people who cared about her enough to help her face them.
The next morning, Luz woke up feeling better than she had in days. She sought out Lilith to thank her for her kindness and understanding, and Lilith gave her a warm hug in return. Although Luz had always been scared of her nightmares, she knew now that she could always turn to Lilith for comfort and support whenever she needed it.
