A Lil AU

Once upon a time, in the Boiling Isles, Luz Noceda was attending Hexside Academy of Magic and Demonics. She looked up to the older students who were skilled in magic and aspired to be just like them. In particular, she admired Eda Clawthorne when she was younger.

Luz watched carefully as Eda showed her magic tricks and thought she could do better. So she decided to try out one of Eda's tricks in her room. Luz poured some potion on the floor and lit a small fire, hoping to create the same amazing effect that Eda did when she was young.

Unfortunately, the potion was too strong and the flames grew beyond her control. Luz panicked and tried to put out the fire with her magic but only ended up making it worse. She had accidentally set Hexside on fire.

The students and teachers evacuated the school as the fire department and other magic authorities tried to put out the fire. Luz felt dreadful and knew that she had let everyone down. She had wanted to impress everyone, but instead, she had caused chaos.

After the fire was finally extinguished, Luz went to apologize to Eda, who forgave her and assured her that it was just an accident that could happen to anyone. But Luz knew that she had taken it too far and promised to be more careful in the future when trying out new things.

From then on, Luz learned to respect the boundaries of what was safe and appropriate when practicing magic. She continued to look up to Eda, but now she understood that it was okay to make mistakes and that perfection was not always attainable. Instead, she focused on improving her skills and becoming the best version of herself that she could be, without putting herself or others at risk
