"My Sunshine.." (A Cross x Dream Story)

Chapter 1 - The truce

3rd person's POV:

The star sanses came back home, or either way to their base after a fight with the bad sanses. All of them were pretty injured due to the fact that they are only three while the bad sanses are four.

One day, Ink has decided to make her first meeting with Nightmare, Error and obviously Dream since Ink thought that they need to talk about some things.

Ink decided to make a mail and placed it into a clean envelope, then stamped it with her own design.

After Ink asked a mailman to deliver the envelope to the king of negativity, Ink talked about the meeting to Dream. "Ink, are you out of your mind? We might get hurt by them mostly because Nightmare is as strong as Error!" Dream quietly yelled, disagreeing with the other very much. "Dreeeaamyy, don't you think it's better if us guardians and demi gods to fix this battle and set up a truce? It's better for our multiversee!!" Ink said sarcastically.

"You may have a point, but that doesn't mean they couldn't decline the truce and to kill us after declining!!" Dream said a little bit disappointed, not because Ink made a meet up that is too risky, it's because Ink didn't think wisely before sending the mail to her brothers castle that is located in their AU.

"Dream we could defend ourselves, and plus I'll allow us to bring our weapons incase of an unknown attack." Ink reassured. Dream didn't actually want something bad to happen but she still agreed, having small hope for her brother to agree with the truce.

~in Nightmare's castle~
(After a day)

Nightmare's POV

I got woken up by alarm ringing. Lazily, I turned off the clock and took a seat by the end of my bed stretching my arms as i groan, 'great.. another day of annoy-ment.' I thought as I stood up and opened the closet.

Once I picked a good shirt, jacket and pair of shorts, I put them on and put on my shoes, I went out of my room and walked down the staircase and through the kitchen to make my coffee.

I placed the water inside the electronic kettle and awaited it to boil as I put my bittered coffee inside of my mug that I grabbed earlier.

After awhile the kettle boiled and I plugged the kettle's plug out, I grabbed the handle of the kettle and poured the boiling water into my mug, then I grabbed the spoon and stir the water with the coffee powder.

A few sips later I saw two of my comrades go down the stairs. The first one that got down the stairs has their soul outside of their ribcage and is shaped like a target, she is wearing a simple blue-ish jacket with a gray top on, along side with the simple dark blue shorts.

The other one has a hole in the side of their skull and has only one red creepy eye just right below the hole of his skull.

That's right. You guessed it. Those two were Killer and Horror. They got downstairs and greated me when they saw me in the kitchen drinking my coffee.

"Mornin' boss! Had any missions or ideas for today?", Killer asked me. "Hm... Nah, you guys are gonna have a break for this day. I'm to tired to deal with anything.", I said continuing to drink my coffee.

"Does that mean I can go out and do whatever?", Horror said with confusion. "Yeah I suppose. But you better come back before midnight." I told him. I turned to Killer and said, "also one more thing, don't break any other things if you and Dust are gonna stay here, everything in here is Valuable." I said as I growled at the end of my sentence.

Killer nodded as I head out of the kitchen. "I'll go outside for fresh air. Don't do anything stupid." I glared at them as I continued going out of the castle and closing the gates shut, I sat on the bench that I told the papyrus guard's to make in the garden the other day ago.

Yes, we have a garden outside of the castle with fences on the edge. This is where we get our foods cause well most likely, villagers would attack or scream for my "sister" and her team to go to that kind of au if we bought outside food.

I pretty much despise them cause of them overreacting when we haven't even done anything yet.

I placed my mug on the side of the bench and stood up. I came towards the mailbox to see if there's any mail left for me cause mostly kings, queens amd other kingdoms goes to leave a mail for me to read.

I don't actually know why they need to do this when phones already exist. I opened the mailbox and found one mail for me. I opened it and saw something I do not quite expected..

Doesn't he know that I hate neon, colorful decorations?! Atleast she could've not added those!

I just sighed but atleast read the letter.

After a good minute I closed the letter and sighed in annoyment. Like what would we even talk about? I hope it's not one of those traps.

3rd person's POV

Hours had passed and Nightmare has already called Error to come over with his phone. Nightmare was exactly in the tree of feelings right on that broken tree on atleast 1:40 pm already cause he might get late.

A few minutes had gone by and Error came to that exact location same with Dream and Ink.

"Took you three long enough." Nightmare said as Error casually rolls his eyes. "What the hell are we even gonna talk about?!" "Well, Ink and I planned for a truce between ruining peoples lives.. killing people.. ruining AUs.. making AUs... And finally fighting each other." "I don't know what your talking about." Nightmare said sarcastically.

"Well uhm.. fighting each other, ruining and making AUs over and over will eventually lead us to nothing... Might aswell make a truce and befriend each other and talk about things that isn't right...?" Dream said again, sweating from how close she is to Nightmare since Dream can't hold in to too many negativity. And to her point of view, Nightmare holds so many negativity in him.

Nightmare was actually thinking this time. He do know Dream had some point but.. will the villagers from other AUs accept it? Will FATE accept it?

" I... "

And that's it! Whooo!! Alot of hard work on one chapter! I hope I'll get ideas next time to make the second chapter go longer! To my surprise, i can't believe I've gotten to this so far.

I know this first chapter is not too interesting, but I promise the next one will!

!Fun facts!

• All of the sanses still has their magic, it's just that they're human.

• Ink and Error barely know eachother, so they fight only for the balance of the multiverse.

• Cross secretly can leave the room he's locked in to, but goes back immediately so no one can suspect a thing, yes, Cross is powerful, but he has cuffs on that can disable powers.
