Chapter 4

Lana pov
I open my eyes to the sun, beaming down on my face. I sit up slowly.that was probably the best sleep. I have ever had in my whole life I got to sleep through the night not having to get up and check my surroundings
      i then step out of bed and change into a different set of clothes that Maria has laid out for me I take my pyjamas off and set them on the chair next to the bed I then get dressed I then make way downstairs. Making sure to grab my backpack off the desk as I make my way down the stairs I haven't decided to stay but I'm not exactly in a rush to leave either. As I reach the bottom of the staircase, I grab my hoodie hanging on the railing and then make my way to the front door slip on my shoes and begins my walk to the dinning hall for breakfast I don't know my way around Jackson quite yet, but I know where a few things are such as the dining hall infirmary, the bar and the stables the walk only takes about five minutes when I finally reached the doors of the dining hall everyone's already there not as many people as I saw yesterday but all the tables are full. I go to sit down at the same table. I sat at yesterday with Maria, Tommy, Joel and Eli I sit down and Maria offered to go get my food for me but I tell her I got it I can do it myself I stand up from the table and make my way to the counter where I grab a tray filled with food, eggs, toast with butter and jam and cereal and a glass of orange juice I take my food and sit back down at the table again I still don't really trust these people butI'm beginning to trust Maria a bit more but I don't know much about the rest of them though but Joel seems nice.

I look up to see Eli is staring at me. Not a normal stare but a death stare. I don't know what I did to piss her off, but she just really doesn't like me. I finally look up at her and make eye contact and almost yell WHAT she looks taken aback she doesn't say anything she just gets up from the table and leaves the cafeteria Maria asks me what that was all about and I say she's been giving me dirty looks since I got here and I don't know what her problem is Maria explains to me that there hasn't really been any newcomers lately and she's just curious I say that doesn't give her the excuse to be a bitch I then finish eating my food and get up from the table to put my dishes in the sink I grab Eli's too because she has just left them on the table when I get to the kitchen to put the dishes in the sink I see Joel standing there he explained to me that she doesn't mean to be rude. That She's kind of just comes off that way, he says that kids been through a lot. I sigh and say so have I but you don't see me being rude I then make my way out of the dinning hall and to the stables I just want to see the horses I've always loved horses.

Elie pov
Everything is fine I'm just eating my breakfast, laughing and talking with Joel and Tommy when she walks in she comes to the table just to leave again because she forgot to grab food. What an idiot she comes and sits back down and begins eating slower this time I think she's she knows it's not going anywhere I stare at her I know it's rude and wrong but I don't care. I just don't trust her. She's up to something I just know it She hasn't given as much information about her. She also doesn't seem in a rush to leave she's probably gonna steal some of our resources for herself and make a break for it at night. I know that's what I thought about when I found out that Joel had lied to me. I planed on taking everything I could and try to make it on my own but I decided to stay but I don't want her to stay. I want her to leave. She doesn't belong here she doesn't talk like us or act like us or seen what we've seen, she's just another girl she's also too quiet in a bad way she doesn't even try to initiate any type of conversation she's not shy I think she's just a bitch and I don't like her this whole time I've been thinking to myself I hadn't noticed that I've literally been staring at her. She looks up at me and are eyes meet, I've never noticed how beautiful they are before they're a bright green. They perfectly complement her red hair she then yells super loud WHAT I'm taking a back and quite confused I don't even say anything. I just stand up and walk out of the dining hall. I'm not dealing with that I walk to the one place I love to be the stables with shimmer
