Chapter 19: Thinking

I begin rubbing my eyes I was waking up to what I remember how everything started. I remember being terrified and all I wanted was to find my friends. I remember it being the last month of 8th grade. I would be in high school, probably 10 or 11th maybe even 12th by now. It's so much different then what I remember hanging out with my friends most weekends, having sleepovers but now sleepovers are an everyday kind of thing. I'm glad I'm with my bestfriend, family, boyfriend and his family and new friends that I have met during this and came to love. This new world, this disease, whatever it is, it's strange. It was just I normal day except I was being sent to the office for standing up to the worst person I know "little mrs perfect Vanissa Williams". I wanted to rip her face off. But I don't have to worry about her anymore, she's probably dead she would probably break a nail and have a tantrum. I kind of like it, I'm used to everything, I've met new people that I love like family and the love of my life and getting closer with my friends. The only people I knew before this that are with me are my mom, dad, sister, brother, Zamaria, Rita, Kayla and John. But the people I've met mean so much to me. I knew the moment I saw Carl that he was the one. I remember like it was yesterday I was walking into their camp looking around and I made eye contact it felt like the whole world froze and it was just him and I and then we met, he gave me a tour and we fell in love. Carl is a little bit like my everything and I have no idea what I would do without him. We've been dating for about almost 3-4 years it's hard to keep track. We had a close friend he kept track of dates but he was killed during the attack at our camp. That's when we lost Maggie. Just thinking about when that all happened makes me cry, all of our close members, people's family, people's children, parents, brothers, sisters, friends, it was horrible. I cry everything that moment replays in my head, it's the worst thing that has happened to me.
