The room was dim.
Not abandoned—just intentionally quiet.
Curtains drawn halfway, letting only a sliver of moonlight slip through and rest against a small wooden table.
On that table—
A photograph.
Marko stood over it, unmoving.
The image showed a jewel.
A circular amulet, pale silver with a faint glow at its core. It wasn’t overly decorated, but something about it felt ancient… precise… deliberate.
The Moon Amulet.
Marko adjusted his glasses slightly as he studied it.
“…One is not enough.”
His voice remained calm.
Measured.
Almost patient.
He reached into his robe and pulled out the one he already possessed.
The real one.
It glowed faintly in his palm, reacting subtly to the moonlight leaking into the room.
“Two are required…”
A pause.
“…to complete it.”
His gaze shifted toward the corner of the room.
Leaning against the wall—
His sword.
Still unfinished.
Still dormant.
Yet even now, it gave off a quiet presence, like something waiting for permission to awaken.
Marko walked toward it slowly.
“The blade remains incomplete…”
He stopped in front of it.
“…I wonder where this is going. Well, I guess the Urban Theory was real.”
A soft hum filled the air for a brief second—barely noticeable.
“Without the second Moon Amulet…”
His hand hovered near the hilt.
“…it will never reach its peak.”
Behind him, the room carried signs of life.
Not just his.
Others.
One of them sat cross-legged on the floor, aggressively tapping at a handheld console.
“NO—NO—THAT WAS MY WIN—YOU CHEATED.”
Across from him, another leaned lazily against the wall, completely unfazed.
