I envy the crying child,
Screaming in pain so mild,
Yet see how simply they stop,
So simply they get back on top,
Just by being placed atop,
The cradel of life.I envy the smiling child,
So brightly it has smiled,
My only wish is to swap,
And wish for my tears to stop
Just by being placed atop,
The cradel of life. Why can't I cry like the child?
Or just once; smile like the child?
Why can't I just swap with the child?
So all my problems would be a bit mild
Just by being placed atop,
Tha Cradle of life. There lives within me a child
A child abandoned and exiled.
Crying for help, wishing for life to stop,
Hoping that I am healed some what
Just by being placed atop,
The cradle of life.
