Within the confines of the room itself, the Professor and the Centurion were now given books on languages as the Professor points to various words on the pages.

And from what the Centurion could tell, he saw the language and words within the pages and discovered that the words are quite similar to Latin.

'Hmmm...' the Centurion thought to himself as he looked at the pages and saw what he could attempt to say as he slowly turned to the scholar before him.

"H..hello." He says in Common as the Professor nods in approval

"Excellent! A good start and soon enough, you'll be able to help us." The older man says as Felix nodded

"Thank.. you." He answers as the Professor writes something that the Centurion could describe as refined Parchment paper.

The Professor nods as he continues to teach the Centurion in his language, in spite of his earlier crimes, and has been willing to hear him out, more so when he had not killed anyone. And finding this one was quite an interesting experience to the Professor as he readjusted his glasses and treated the warrior as if he were one of his students.

The centurion continued studying the language, understanding the wording and use of the alphabet and compared it to the ones written on the Acropolis or within the various books and scrolls available as he continued to go through in the depths of knowledge available to oneself

And as the time passed on and day went by, these teachings helped him gain a limited understanding of these people, and in spite of their barrier, he found the old man's attitude towards him quite civil...reminded him of the teachers his family provided him back in Rome. Ergo, the attitude was a nice level of change for him and gave him a little piece of Roma.

Eventually, he was set free after receiving aid from the Professor, whose name he learnt to be Ozpin, whether it was a surname or a his given name isn't clear, he guessed it could be the former as a guard called to the scholar's name in a sense how one would address a lord or an officer.

He soon rationalized it to him, choosing to keep his name on a vague or discreet level as the Centurion was promptly escorted out of his cell as the pair walked across the steel and stonelike facility as he looked at the restraints, ones he had gotten used to.

The thin metal clamps around his wrists and ankles limited his movements, moreso with the ankle restraints that are chained together, limiting his movement as he shuffled forward as the guard was by his right, keeping him from fleeing

Yet he found little reason to flee, not when he had received quite decent or similar housing to his camp?

Once he reached a room, he moved and found himself unshackled from the restraints by the guard.

"Alright Felix right?" He asks Felix as the Roman nodded

"Alright, good. Professor Ozpin bought your release and upon your circumstances, we're going to let you free. However, I would suggest that you stick with Mr. Ozpin. I don't want to hear more incidents that have your name and prints on them, understand?" The guard informed Felix as he nodded as the guard nodded back.

"Excellent. Now, go on and git. You're belongings are in a gray box" The guard says as Felix sighs and goes out of the door, and as he was about to reach for his belongings, he had heard the guard loudly cough as he turned and the man stared at the Roman, who in turn, stared back

"I'll repeat. Do not screw this chance Felix. Otherwise, I wouldn't be nicer to you then." he says as Felix glared back at him.

Even in this new world, pride and ego will and always be something that would affect a man's destiny and legacy in whatever lands they find themselves in.

"Do not...Insult a Centurion...But I will not waste time on you. Goodbye." Felix spoke in what was broken Common and Latin as he took the box and left the guard to his lonesome.

Sighing at the man's rather insistence to play by their rules

Felix soon walked and found the Professor waiting for him.

"Mr. Marcellus, good to see you outside the bars. I have transports to help you get to an academy, somewhere for you to learn more, and perhaps be able to for the two of us to learn more of one another." Ozpin says as Felix nods.

"Thank you once again." Felix says as Ozpin smiles at that.

And as they walked around the city, Felix couldn't help but admire the city's architecture.

'Hmmm...yes, this world's architecture will be of great use for the new Rome Caesar wishes.' Felix smiled as he burned the images of the city into the depths of his memory

He continued on with the Professsor as soon enough, a carriage made of iron and steel rolled up. But there was something wrong with it.

"...Where are the horses? And the rider?" Felix asks as he placed his box around one arm and looked at the metal construct with surprise and awe.

Now this metal beast was interesting in the eyes of the Centurion, it was something that had to have been made by Vulcan, the God of Blacksmithing.

He continued to stare at the black-colored carriage, noting it was far smaller than those in Rome, or to any of its other cities. Sleek, smooth metal that had spots of what he could see as glass, and was awed by the purity of such glass on it.

"We call that a car." Ozpin says to Felix as the Roman turns to him with a tilted head. "Car? You mean a Carriage?" He asks as Ozpin paused for a moment, and simply gave a nod as the man simply nodded and accepted the Professor's statement

"Yes." Ozpin says as he helped Felix onto the car, and gestured to the driver to take them to the Academy, Beacon.

"What must I expect from the Schola?" Felix asks

"Classes, learnings, lore from great teachers and scholars that can show you how to be a good Huntsman, or a warrior." he says as the man nodded.

"Curious." Felix says as he looks out to the glass windows, seeing the world pass by so fast within the contraption.

The cushions around his buttocks were quite comfortable, far more suited for a noble. The black leathery cushions kept him comfortable as he let out a sigh of relief, finding quite the comfort he hadn't had in some time.

His eyes soon glanced at Ozpin, the Professor and head of a Schola. It still surprised him that this noble-esque man was more than willing to visit a criminal in the eyes of these people. And thankfully, took pity on him for being unfamiliar with their tongue.

'If Roma, in some miracle, shows up here, I'll repay this man by vouching? Yes, that's right. Vouch for him to Caesar.' He concluded to himself as he knew, that this world will and should have plenty of surprises for him one way or another.

But his thoughts turned back to the night-colored wolf he had seen, The Professor had told Felix that it was a Beowulf, a type of beast spawned from literal darkness and the horrors of men.

His hand clasped his chin as he continued to ponder.

He had heard of the gods of Hypnos and Thanatos; it's certainly possible that those two gods have a certain influence over the two worlds if Ozpin's lessons to him were proven truthful. But he knew not as to why they would bother influencing this world when his was far more bloodied as of the moment.

Perhaps the fates will enlighten him one way or another...
