The Campfire

They had two weeks free before gathering on set. Something suddenly came up so pre-production teams couldn't meet the deadline. Therefore, the starting date for shooting was moved to two weeks after.

Bible didn't know how but somehow, P' Jeff managed to land him some jobs to fill in those two weeks, making him extremely busy. However, an opportunity for "re-connection with Build" as P' Rich requested was still behind his back. Therefore, Bible had to have a conversation with P' Jeff, with the help of P' Jo, for a few days off before the gathering day. Finally, P' Jeff agreed to give him three days free. However, they were the weekends right before D-day so Bible had to come up with something to guarantee a re-connection. He decided to fulfil one of his past promises, a camp in the Chiang Mai mountain side, under the stars.

After the conference, Build seemed to be more playful and brighter. Before, it was Bubbles only that Build looked comfortable with. But now, he seemed relaxed around everyone. Sometimes, he would tell everyone a joke he had just heard somewhere. Other times, he would pull a frank, making everyone laugh.

This change did not apply to the crew only but to Bible as well. When they were on break, he started the conversations with Bible and they talked about anything in the world. However, Bible could feel something ... indescribable. During their conversation, Build would act shyly and flustered. And sometimes, he ... blushed? There were times that Bible caught Build looking at him but when he turned, Build would look away, pretending nothing happened. Bible was so confused.

P' Jo commented that something had changed in Build but Bible thought he knew what that "something" was, considering what he saw on the rooftop. He wasn't really excited about this change though. The only good thing that came out of this, Bible thought, was that Build agreed immediately when he asked about the camping trip.

Then, after two full-stacked weeks, the trip Bible was looking for finally came.

Early Friday morning, they arrived in Chiang Mai.

At noon, they were already by the mountain site and started climbing from there.

After a long time in the city, Bible was finally back to his environment. He returned home frequently but to climb the mountain, he didn't have that much time and chance.

The weather was beautiful that day. It was sunny, wide and high and cloudless, promising a starry sky at night. Thanks to the winds and woods, it was not too hot, perfect weather for hiking. The trails started off broad and easy to hike, the slope was gentle. Sun rays were dancing through leaves, bringing joy to their journey. Birds were singing here and there, along with the cicadas' orchestra.

However, from halfway up the mountain, the trail wasn't that easy anymore. It became narrower until there was no more trail leading to the top. They had to go through the woods and grass just by Bible's knowledge, instinct and navigation. The slope was steeper too.

- Ble ...

It was a good thing that they started hiking at noon. Based on his calculation, they would get to the top by sunset. It took at least one hour to set up the tent and stove, a quick dinner and they had the night for stargaze.

- Ble - Build called out louder this time.

Realising that Build called to him, Bible turned his back. To see that Build was leaning on a tree, panting desperately.

- Can ... can we ... have a rest... ? - He said between shallow breaths.

- Sure!

- Oh, thank God!

As soon as Bible agreed, he slided down the tree and sat on the ground immediately, breathing heavily. Bible laughed out loud.

- What are you laughing at? - Build took out his bottle of water and gave Bible a glare.
