The Accident

After the casting was script reading, in which all actors and actresses would gather together and meet for the first time. Roles that usually worked together also had their first interaction and started conversations on a personal level. This requirement was specially necessary for roles paired as a couple. Therefore, Bible and Build would have more space together.

It was a good chance for them to reconnect, Bible thought. However, it was extremely awkward between them. Well, maybe Bible had held high hope that after their earlier conversation, things would go as smoothly as before. Turns out, he was wrong, again. When they were left alone to discuss the scene, both of them neither looked at each other, or had direct talk to the other. All conversations were just small talks, or the scenes from the script or just pure professionalism.

It seemed like there was something between them. Or more precisely, nothing between them. No connection at all. Bible felt like he was back to square one, to the day that they first met, in which Bible was a skinny nerd and Build was an outstanding guy with light highlights on his hair. P' Rich quickly recognized this and requested him to recreate their connection faster.

On the contrary, Build seemed to be relaxed more around Bubbles. He talked with her more comfortably than everyone else, even joked with her sometimes. Whenever two of them were in the room, there would definitely be laughter. To Bible's annoyance, Bubbles took this as an opportunity to tease him every time. She and P' Jo! Bible still didn't understand how or when they got along but the duo kept poking at him and all of their teases were about Build. Did they have to remind him every single chance they had? Of course, he'd already known how cute and handsome Build was! And yes, he still couldn't believe a person could be cute and handsome at the same time. But, was it necessary to repeat it non-stop? They drove him crazy. And because he couldn't defeat Bubbles' logic and he hadn't won over his brother in strength yet, the only solution he had when facing them was to walk away.

Two months after the first reading was the studio's big press conference and a party followed, introducing all their upcoming projects for the autumn - winter season, including "By Chance ''. They were still in the pre-production stage so P' Mean wanted to bring to the conference a short video of the characters' looks instead of a teaser. She also wanted to take this chance to test the fans and media's reaction to their casting choices and to evaluate how much the public's attention was for this project.

Video for the character's first look was an easy one. Basically, it was like a shooting for a fashion video with dressing on a theme. The hard one was Bubbles and Build's reaction to the conference. They were both as white as a sheet when P' Mean announced the event. As days passed by, they became more and more anxious. Bible could understand Build's response, it was his first public appearance in front of the media after coming back anyway. But Bubbles? He was confused, so he decided to satisfy his curiosities.

- Why are you so nervous about the event? It's just a conference...

- Because it's the conference, I'm worried - Bubbles answered.

- Why?

- Well ... How to say this? - Bubbles looked uneasy - It's my first time appearing in front of the media, in a big conference like that... So many eyes will be on me... Don't laugh but that makes me nervous, okay?

- Your first time? You're a famous author. You must have had many fan meetings or something like that before...

- Thanks for overestimating me. But no, I've never shown myself in front of the media before. That's the beauty of being a writer, you can be famous and no one knows who you are. Some authors even use pen names so that they can use the name to enter their imaginary world without affecting their own life.
