The Author

Bible walked into the room full of people. The room went silent the moment he appeared. There were some familiar faces but the rest were strangers to him. They all were sitting around a round table and looking up at him at the moment. He was used to it anyway, being the centre of attention. Didn't mean he came comfortable with it though. Keeping a straight face, he went to his seat.

- Good morning everyone!

Right after sitting down, Bible noticed the most unfamiliar person in the room. She was sitting right in front of him. It was not because Bible knew everyone in the room, it was her dressing. Her dressing shouted that she was not in the entertainment industry. Her make up was very light, and wasn't done by a professional or a person who wore make up frequently, hiding behind a pair of glasses. Her dress was in casual style as well, not an expensive one. Overall, it screamed out loud that she didn't belong to the room full of fashionable people.

Her vibe, however, was very different to her dressing. It was relaxed and calm and very confident. As if she could take on the world and nothing could trouble her. And somehow, flickering in her eyes, there was also a hint of determination, looking like she was aiming for a specific goal. Bible wasn't sure if that was really what she was hiding or it was just his feelings. Bible thought he should feel uncomfortable about this but he didn't, strangely, he felt in sync with her. Very strange!

- Khun Bible, thank you very much for joining us today. I believe your manager, P' Jo has explained to you about this meeting and what we will discuss?

- Actually, it was Jeff that informed me about today's meeting and insisted that I should come.

- Ah, your boss, of course. Firstly, let me introduce our team. My name is Rich, director of this project, on my right here is P' Mean, the producer and this is P' Bubbles, the author of the original book.

So that was her name, the lady in front of Bible. Another author again! Somehow, it brought back bad memories.

- Nice to meet you all! As far as I am aware, the purpose of this meeting is to discuss a project you're about to do ?

- Yes, P' Bubbles here is the author of a very famous series novel. Her books have already been published into ... second edition?

- Third edition in Thai alone and going abroad - Bubbles corrected.

- I see, congratulations! - The director excited

- Thank you! - She smiled proudly

- Anyway, back to our topic! And P' Mean's studio has won the right to adapt her first book into a television series. I was trusted to appoint the director of this project.

- Congratulations to all of you then. But I'm a bit confused here. I don't see how this relates to me or to Studio on Saturn.

Bubbles and P' Rich exchanged a look then Bubbles looked up to Bible, she continued.

- I have a very specific requirement for them to adapt my work. That is, you will play the main role.

Bible was very surprised to hear her condition. He went immediately into defence mode. A past mistake shall not be made again!

- I'm honoured, I guess. But why? We ... we haven't met before, right? I don't recall ...

- Relaxed, we haven't met before. This is our first time meeting. And for your information, originally, I didn't write the character based on you either. Chance is completely different from you.

- Chance?

- Oh, the role you're offered to. It's just that I've been following your works for a while and really admire your talent and hard work. Therefore, I really want to cooperate with you when this opportunity comes up.
