Y/N: Here's my car.

I announced, pointing my finger at the black Arasaka van in front of us.

Alt: Wait, are you serious?

Y/N: Yeah.

I answered as I stepped into the van and got behind the wheel while she took the passenger seat.

Alt: How did you get your hands on this? Or are you with them?

Y/N: Trust me, if I would've been with them, I wouldn't look for a gig to earn some cash.

I explained as I started the van and drove off.

Alt: Makes sense I guess. But there's still a possibility of you being a spy.

Y/N: Everybody could be one.

I shrugged.

Alt: But not everyone drives around in a Arasaka van.

Y/N: If Arasaka would send spies after you, I'm sure they'd be a little bit more subtle. Doubt they'd drive around in their vans.

Alt: Fair enough. So...How did you get this van?

Y/N: I stole it from them.

Alt: From one of their checkpoints or did you pull it off the street?

Y/N: I stole it while they were busy obliterating an Aldecaldo camp.

Alt: I heard about that...absolute massacre. Wait, were you there?

Y/N: Yeah, I was with them.

Alt: You don't look like one of them.

Y/N: I know.

Alt: So how did you got in?

Y/N: Let's just say I've proven my worth to their leader.

Alt: What are you exactly? A Merc? A Fixer? Something else?

Y/N: My abilities range wildly. I'm whatever I need to be.

Alt: Sounds great but I doubt that's the truth.

Y/N: You can believe whatever you want.

Alt: I know, thanks for telling me.

Y/N: So, where are we going?

Alt: I'm sending the coordinates, wait a sec.

She responded as she connected to the van and gave inserted the coordinates.

Y/N: Alright, so when will you tell me what this gig is about?

Alt: Oh yeah, it's pretty simple actually. We'll be stealing some medicine.

Y/N: Medicine?

Alt: Yeah.

Y/N: Is Rogue sick or something?

I asked jokingly.

Alt: I don't think so. She'll sell it to people in need.

Y/N: You guys don't have pharmacies or something in here?

Alt: That'd be a luxury.

Y/N: So medicine is pretty rare?

Alt: Too rare.

Y/N: You're saying health is not affordable in this city?

Alt: A few years back I scrolled a little feature called “How Affordable is Health?” It turns out not very. My numbers showed only 3 percent of Night City citizens could afford healthcare. A lot has changed since. For the worse. Some people are declaring open war on rippers, breaking into clinics, klepping meds and chems. No surprise there. And no surprise these rippers want to protect what’s theirs.
