Chapter 1: I'm a Caster, but...

Merlin P.O.V

I take a sip of the tea, and hmm... not bad. I'm personally more of a coffee- who am I kidding, I never outgrew my childhood tastes. I am a hot chocolate person through and through. But the hot leaf juice is appreciated nonetheless. Enough of off-topic things however, I still need to consider the fact that I... I don't know... just got isekai'd!

Merlin: Thank you, Wiz.

Wiz: A-ah! It was no problem! Serving tea is the least I can do for troubling you!

Maintaining my calm exterior thanks to being an idol, or well former idol, unless that is a profession here. I take a look outside the window of the shop, seeing a medieval town, people in armor, and carriages. Yup, definitely got isekai'd to a fantasy world. Taking yet another sip, not that I really need to eat being a dream like existence, I still find it enjoyable.

Though that works in my favor, seeing as I don't exactly know where to get any money here. So saving costs on food and drink is useful, albeit housing still is a concern. Actually... is it? I can always try popping back to Avalon, but sometimes it's a bit wacky over there and it's a rather long run. Plus I'm not even sure if Avalon exists here.

Oh well, I put down the now empty tea cup and stand up. Deciding to take a look around the shop for a bit, I see a whole bunch of rather... useless sounding items. A potion of fire resistance that also makes you extremely flammable? A cloak meant for stealth that glows in the dark? This shop's future doesn't look too bright, even if the shop owner is rather nice. 

Wiz: Oh, you finished your tea? Do you want more?

I turn to see Wiz coming out of the storage room at the back of the store and holding some more... weird items along with the phallic object she used to summon me here. But I really should get going and figure out what I am going to do here instead of drinking more and more of this lady's tea.

Merlin: No thank you, I'm perfectly fine. The tea was good though, thank you.

I let out a warm smile and perhaps use a bit of magic to make my hair flutter and a scent of roses waft through the air, to this Wiz blushes. Heh, I learnt from my time in the idol group... it really is so fun to tease girls like this.

Wiz: I-it's really nothing! In fact, thank you for being so nice even after I brought you here on accident!

Merlin: Ahaha, no worries, Wiz. I'll be going now, I have to figure out what I'm going to do after all.

She looks a bit saddened by this? Hmm, perhaps she got a little bit more attached to me and my charms after all.

Wiz: I see... will you be coming back anytime soon?

Merlin: Oh? Does someone miss me already?

Wiz: N-no! It isn't that, I just feel sort of responsible for bothering you.

Merlin: I told you already, don't worry about that. I don't really know much about this place either, so I doubt I'll go far. Anyways, goodbye for now, Wiz!

Wiz: I uh- goodbye!

She does a little awkward wave and I wave goodbye back. So, now opening the door I'm greeted by a fresh breeze. Ah, the air here is certainly cleaner than it was back in the city, so that is nice. All I do is take a walk through the streets and look at some signs and any words I can find, mhm, this should be enough.

Casting a little spell on my eyes, I concocted a neat little spell that will automatically translate any written language for me. I'm currently listening to conversations as I walk to make a spoken language version of the spell, so until then I have no particular destination in mind. Oh yeah, perhaps I was granted with a "bit" of magical talent, ehe!
