Present

"Ngayon ko na nga lang naalala we had sex 3 months before our annulment" she said after telling what happened to her marriage.

"You said I love you to him, do you think you were pretending?" Leni did not answer immediately. She was trying to remember everything that happened that night.

"I don't know" she answered.

"You also let him cum inside you, knowing you were fertile that time. Don't you think, both of you were looking for something that will make your marriage work? I mean if mabubuntis ka nung mga panahon na yun, malabo nga naman lalong mag hiwalay kayo." Leni avoid Catarina's gaze.

"Leni, buo ba talaga yung loob mong maki pag hiwalay sakanya noon? O yun lang kasi ang pinaka madaling way kaya yun ang napili mo"

"I — I don't know ..."

"And now you are having sex with your ex husband, who you claimed you don't love anymore"

"I don't love him anymore" Leni got defensive at the mention of still loving Bongbong.

"And yet you are here Leni..." she avoid her gaze again, playing something on her ring finger, she's not wearing any ring but she kept on holding her ring finger.

"If you don't love him anymore Leni, why are you here? Why do you want to figure things out?"

"Maybe I still love him, pero not in a romantic way. I mean he's still the father of my children"

Catarina remove her eyeglasses and closed her notebook. "Leni, I noticed you kept on playing with you ring finger. Did you regret breaking up with Bongbong?"

There was nothing but silence between them. Catarina patiently waits for Leni to answer her question.

"Of course" Leni whispered.

Catarina lean back and pause for a while to let Leni hear herself.

"I loved him. I loved him so much and then suddenly I don't know anymore tapos ito na naman siya. Acting like nothing happened between us." Leni did not realize that she's already crying.

"Maybe it's time to face him Leni, to really face him"

While driving, Leni decided to finally call Bongbong. After a few rings, he answered. "Hi lovey..."

"House ka?" She asked.

"Sa work, why?" She heard the tiredness in his voice. "Uwi ka dito sa bahay. Lutuan kita para maka pag pahinga ka rin" she offered.

"I like that lovey. Sige, uwi na ako agad" he said.

"See you later Bong..."

"See you later lovey ko"

Leni prepared everything for him. She wanted to talk to him, she wanted to figure out everything with him.

When she finished cooking their meal, she heard her door opening. She went out her kitchen and saw Bongbong sitting on the couch and his eyes were closed.

"I'm tired" he said. Leni knew that she couldn't talk to him at this point since he was so tired. "Kain ka muna, I prepared your favorite meal" Bongbong stretch his arms and said, "sit with me lovey"

Leni remove her apron then sit with him. Bongbong hold her hand "I missed coming home, na ikaw ang sasalubong saakin with the smell of my favorite meal"

"I missed cooking food for you Bong. I missed taking care of you"

"Sana tayo nalang ulit..." he whispered.

"Bong..."

"I know, I know. Tara kain na tayo, tas next ikaw naman kakainin ko" Leni laughed and playfully slap him.

"Pagod na pagod kana sex pa rin yang nasa isip mo, hindi ka ba sina satisfy ni Charlotte" then Bongbong opened his eyes and looked at her, Leni suddenly realized what she said so she lower down her eyes, "sorry" she uttered.

"I'm planning to end my relationship with Charlotte. Hinihintay ko lang syang bumalik galing sa fashion trip nya"

"But why Bong?"

"I don't want you to be my other woman, I want you to be my only woman lovey"

"Bong..." she whispered. Bongbong put her hand on his cheek that's when Leni noticed that he's crying.

"Mahal na mahal kita Leni. Sobrang nag sisisi ako na naki pag hiwalay ako sayo. Dapat nilaban pa kita. Dapat may nakita pa akong ibang paraan para ma save ang marriage natin."

Leni cupped his face, "Bong, araw araw kung iniisip na sana hindi ako naki pag hiwalay sayo. Pinilit kung gumawa ng sarili kung mundo kahit na alam kong ikaw ang mundo ko."

Bongbong kiss her hand then wrap his arms around her, "I'm sorry lovey. I'm so sorry..."

"So what's going to happen to us then?" Leni asked.

"I will end my relationship with Charlotte and let's try this again." He answered.

Leni nodded in agreement that made Bongbong smile, "pero huwag muna nating sabihin sa mga bata Bong"

Bongbong frowned, "why? You mean hindi muna natin ioout in public?"

"No, huwag muna. Kung hindi ulit to mag work out ayokong saktan ang mga bata sa pangalawa pang pag kakataon."

This time, Bongbong nodded in agreement, "okay, so it's just us?"

"Yes love, it's just us" Bongbong smiled at her.

"I love you Leonor ko..."

"I love you too Ferdinand ko..."
