Chapter 5: Something Strange Has Happened

Shantel wakes up in an unfamiliar place, everything was so white and smelled funny, she looked down and found out that she was in a hospital bed. "Woah, how long was I out?" she questioned herself as she thinks back to what had happened before she fell unconscious. "My leg was in a lot of pain, I ran into the girls bathroom and there was this light, it felt so warm yet so familiar, why is that?"

"Oh, you're awake, how are you?" called a hospital nurse with a smile on her face. "I'm alright, I guess, what happened to me?" Shantel replied.

"You fell into a coma in the girls bathroom at your school, someone found you and called for help, the teachers rang us immediately and we sent you here."

"Do you remember anything before you fell into a coma?" the nurse asked Shantel with a little worry in her eyes.

"No, not really, its a bit blurry."

"Ok, if you remember anything please tell me."

"Ok."

The nurse walked out of the room in a silent pace. "What actually happened to me? Why did I have to lie to that woman, she was so nice to me." Shantel thought this as small tears started falling from her eyes. "Hey Shantel, are you alright?" asked a familiar voice by the entrance door into her room.

"Oh, hey Ronel and yeah I'm fine," replied Shantel wiping her eyes.

"I heard what happened, when you ran out of the classroom, I was starting to get worried, I came running after you and that's when I found the girls bathroom door open and found you lying on the ground unconscious." answered Ronel as he walked over to sit next to Shantel.

"Well, I'm sorry for worrying you, how is Danny? Also how long was I out?" questioned Shantel.

"You were unconscious for at least a few weeks also Danny has been worried sick about you, she has been asking me questions and the teachers, we were all worried," replied Ronel as he came a bit closer to Shantel. "So, are you sure that you're alright?"

"I'm fine, it's alright, there's no need to worry anymore," replied Shantel looking a bit embarrassed about the situation she's in now.

"I hope your not lying because your face has gone all red, have you got a fever?" questioned Ronel as he placed his hand on Shantel's forehead feeling her temperature.

"Really, I'm fine, I'm not sick."

"Ok I guess I'm going to give up on this one but if you're lying to me you'll be punished I promise you on that one," said Ronel in a proud but cheeky voice with a smile on his face. "I'll see you later then."

"Yeah see ya."

It had been a few days since Shantel had woken up from her coma and is now leaving the hospital to return home. "Finally, I can go home and chill for a while," Shantel thought this as she kept walking to her home. As Shantel walked, she passed by a huge park filled with all sorts of nature and animals. "Aww, that deer looks so cute so does that little bird, everything seems so adorable here," thought Shantel as she entered the park. "What's that? A light of some sort?"

Shantel walked up to the light as it got brighter and brighter. "Wait, this feels familiar, I feel like I've felt this light before but that's not possible," thought Shantel as she gazed at the strange light. "I wonder what it is and why is it here?"

"I'm here for you Shantel Von Diva, I've always watched you ever since you were born, I have been waiting for your return to me," said a strange voice that was coming from the light.

"Who are you?"
