"What's wrong, Shanny!" called Danielle from the other side of the hall. "Please, don't call me that," pleaded Shantel as she gave Danielle a huge hug with red and swollen eyes. "I found her crying in the middle of the eating area, I don't know why she was crying though," replied Ronel as he gave the both of the girls a hug. Shantel cried even more as both Danielle and Ronel hugged her. "What's this feeling, I can't describe it, I think it's feeling cared and loved, " thought Shantel as she squeezed tighter to her new friends. "Shantel, why were you crying? Did someone hurt you? I'll bash them up for you if they did," replied Danielle looking serious. "No, it's about last year at my old school," answered Shantel as she gazed at her limp foot. "I'm guessing it's about your foot, isn't it?" Ronel pointed out. " Do you want to talk about it?" questioned Danielle with worry and sadness in her eyes. "Not really, it's too painful to talk about," replied Shantel as she looked down at her feet.

"Does it hurt when you walk on it?" asked Ronel looking down at her limp foot. "If you want I could carry you, if it does."

"No, I'm fine, you don't have to trouble me please," said Shantel looking a bit red in her face. "Hey, don't be a goody two shoes to her if you don't be one to me!" shouted Danielle sounding a bit jealous. "Do you like her or something to be that gentlemanly."

"I like her as a friend and also I'm just trying to be helpful here," yelled Ronel to Danielle looking a bit frustrated.

"Haha."

"Huh?" both Ronel and Danielle looked at Shantel in a questioning way.

"Ahahahahahah!!" laughed Shantel as she smiled at Ronel and Danielle. "No ones ever fought for me before like that, I couldn't help myself, bahahhaha."

"Ahh, hahahaha!" laughed Danielle and Ronel with Shantel.

"I'm guessing that you feel better now, Shantel," asked Ronel still laughing a little. "Yeah, I guess, I'm feeling a bit better now because of you guys," answered Shantel. Do you always fight like this?"

"We kind of fight a little but we've been pretty good until now," answered Danielle as she placed an arm lock around Ronel smiling like a little kid. "Sometimes I wonder why I'm your friend," said Ronel as he broke the arm lock off of Danielle. The electrical bell rang for next class. "Well, I got Maths now so I'll see you guys later," said Danielle as she walk off with her bag over her shoulder.

"What do you have now Shantel?"  asked Ronel as he grabbed his bag and started walking. "Um, I think I've got science now," Shantel answered as she looked at her timetable. Ronel peeked at her timetable and smiled. "We've got the same class together, that's nice, we can still talked together."

Shantel blushed a little and replied back at Ronel. "I look forward to working with you, Ronny."

"Don't call me that, that's what Danny calls me."

"Ok, Ronel."

Shantel and Ronel both entered their science classroom. Their teacher was waiting for the students to calm down. "Come sit next to me," said Ronel as he grabbed Shantel's hand and walked to where he seats. "Ronel, what's up," said another tall guy that was sitting next to Ronel. "Did you score one, nice."

"Nah, you wish I did, this is Shantel she transferred today," said Ronel as he introduced Shantel to his friend. "I'm Ryan, nice to meet ya," said Ryan with a smile on his face. "Gosh, is it me or nearly all the guys at this school a pretty hot," thought Shantel. Ryan looked like any normal guy you'll see here. His blonde hair shined in the light as well as his gorgeous blue eyes. He's kind of muscular, in his arms anyway.

Class began, Shantel loved science and knew almost everything to do with science, but today she wasn't feeling as she normally was. Her limp foot started to tingle a bit this morning but now it was starting to hurt. "Hey Shantel, are you alright? You look like your in pain," whispered Ronel. "I'm alright, my foot is just playing up, it always happens," Shantel lied to Ronel. She stood up and said to the teacher. "I'm going to the bathroom."

"Ok but hurry back," replied the teacher.

Shantel ran as fast as she could, she ran down the hallway, straight into the girls bathroom. She was panting her life out, she was sweating everywhere. Her limp foot started to hurt a lot now. "Ahhh, it hurts," thought Shantel as she clutched to her foot in pain. "This has never happened before, why is it happening now though?"

A bright light had shown itself out of nowhere, it was coming closer to Shantel closer and closer. "What's happening, help me someone!" she yelled at the stop of her lungs but no response came. The bright light hit Shantel's head and she fell unconscious on the cold floor.
