"𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐀 𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑?" 𝐈 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐔𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓" Kristy scoffed in disbelief as they watched The Baby-Sitters Agency promotion video

Jamie couldn't believe a bunch of high schoolers were trying to run their business to the ground, well, she could believe it, she just didn't want to. "Those girls are definitely in high school," Claudia noted,

"Why don't they loiter at the mall like normal teenagers?" Claudia scoffed with a roll of her eyes, Jamie nodded in agreement.

"No one's gonna hire them instead of us, right?" Mary Anne asked unsurely, when getting no response from Kristy or Claudia and Jamie she turned to Stacey -Stacey"

"No, definitely not." Stacey tried to reassure, but Jamie scoffed, she never knew what to say or not to say, and she never knew how to put things lightly either  "They're older, more " mature" of course, they'll hire them before us." She said honestly, all the girls gave her a look, and she shrugged.

"Madam Secretary, will you please read our upcoming jobs?" Kristy asked Mary Anne "Stacey is sitting for Charlotte Johanssen Thursday, Claudia is with the three youngest pikes, I'm with the Marshalls Saturday and Sunday, plus the Newton's new baby is on its way any minute." Mary Anne read and they all excitedly gushed

Kristy cleared her throat signaling them to quiet down, Mary Anne looked back down at the tablet "Oh, and, Jamie, I forgot. You have to sit for the youngest Carlyn sisters. This Friday." Jamie's brows furrowed

Mary Anne saw the girl's confusion and said "They just moved here, on the fourth street. They're on 86." Mary Anne clarified, and Jamie nodded in understanding. "Lily and Ellie." Mary Anne added, Jamie nodded once again

"Anyways. Kim said last month that she's really gonna rely on the club to each Jamie in the early days." Mary Anne informed "So then we're thriving. The Baby-Sitters Agency doesn't stand a chance, it's just proof of our success. They're trying to get a piece of our action, so we need to differentiate ourselves from the competition." Kristy said

and she thought for a moment before her eyes widened with an idea and she stood up "Kid Kits." they all stared at her, waiting for her to continue

"Oh, Kristy, what's a kid kit?" Well, I'm so glad you asked" She sarcastically said, before reaching down to grab something
"Mary Anne, why do I love going over to your house so much?" Kristy asked opening the box

"Because it doesn't smell like a teenage boy?" Mary Anne guessed causing the other three to laugh "Fair, but no." Kristy said

"Because your dad has every board game known to man. And Stacey, Well, actually, I've never been inside your house before. But I'm sure you've got loads of great stuff, you too, Jamie." Kristy said

Jamie shrugged "You guys can come over some day this week, if you want" she hadn't even thought to offer, considering her parents always worked and fought she never thought about it. "I'll let you know when you can. Stace?" Jamie shrugged, turning to Stacey who hadn't said anything yet

"I really can't wait to have all of you guys over. My mom just wanted to finish the, uhm. The bathroom renovations first" Stacey said, Jamie knew firsthand what bad lying looked like. Considering she wasn't any good at it, it was clear Stacey was lying. But she knew the girl probably had a reason, so she didn't budge.

"And, Claudia, the mother lorde. Imagine if Claudia brought all of her awesome stuff every time we came to play, I mean, hang out." Kristy thought, "Genius." Mary Anne said

"So we fill the boxes with old toys, and we'd uae club dues to supplement for what we don't have. We'll bring the boxes to every job, and the kids will be so excited to see what we've got." Kristy finished her thought
