"That's not gold."

John B looked down with glazed eyes at the white package Kiara had handed over. Icarus watched as he huffed out a shocked laugh. "Holy shit. This is from my dad."

Icarus heard JJ's breath catch, and she peeked over his head to where he was staring at the gates to the cemetery. The chain on it rattled, and torches that definitely weren't their own flashed on the graves.

"Code red!" JJ yelled, "code red, square groupers! Square groupers! It's the guys that robbed your house!"

The five of them ran around the other side of the tombstone, turning off torches and whispering for each other to shut up. Icarus got a bright light in the eyes, making her vision spotted for a moment until Kiara elbowed John B, who was trying to hide his torch light underneath his t shirt.

"Turn your light off man!"

There was silence once it was dark, and Icarus tried to hold her breath, afraid that anything could get them killed. It was quite ironic to die in a graveyard, actually. She wondered how long it would take them to find the bodies. She squeezed her eyes shut when one of the men stepped on a twig near them.

Her voice was nearly silent as she hummed to herself. "Choose your last words, this is the last time..."

"Homie's got a gun!"

Kiara ran from their not very discreet hiding spot, flicking up leaves and dirt behind her as she sprinted to the gate on the other side. "Screw this."

"Right here!" One of the men shouted, his torch light fixing on the teens, who started sprinting too the van immediately. Icarus wrapped her arms around JJ's shoulders again, eyes wide.

"Guys, let's go! Go, go!" John B yelled at him, clutching the bars on the dark green gate and pulling himself up after Kiara. He climbed over it, a torch light flashing on him and more yells came from the people chasing them. "Hurry up!"

"In case you haven't noticed," Icarus said through gritted teeth while she scanned the area for a place she could get out. "I'm missing a leg."

She slipped off JJ's back, and he whipped around with a frown on his face, Pope climbing the gate behind him. "Iggy what're you-"

"-I'm also hella skinny."

Icarus twisted around and got her head between two of the bars. JJ shook his head and followed Pope over the gate. She ignored their yells about something and turned on her side, pushing her shoulder through the gap and then her waist.

"I'm stuck- No! your gonna rip me!"

"Oof-"She muttered, falling onto the gravel and scratching her palms on the sharp rocks. Icarus hissed in pain, feeling them heat up with droplets of blood that would stain her sleeves.

Then someone picked her up, and JJ was running to the van, Pope behind him. Icarus glanced back at the gates, where a guy was watching them angrily, but she could only just see the outline.

Then she saw Pope.

"Where your pants at?"

Icarus sat on the edge of the table. There was a pile of crumpled notes and papers that looked like one of Pope's old school projects underneath her thigh. Leonardo was pecking at old pistachio shells underneath a chair. She heard JJ and Pope bickering in the kitchen about 'natural orgasms' or something along those lines. She didn't really want to know the details.
