Chapter six

(Y/n)'s pov:

"Are you in a hurry?" I asked gazing up at the clouds from under the tree.

"Not really. Why?" Sasuke furrowed his eyebrows.

"You should go back. Your friends must be waiting for you." I said with a small smile.

"I don't need them, they would just slow me down. Anyways, where are your friends?"

"I just got in the village like three days ago. What friends are you talking about?" I made a face at him and he rolled his eyes at me.

"About that dobe, Naruto." He frowned to himself.

Hurts his ego to say his name?

"Sunshine boy? Of course, but I can't be with him right now. I feel like something will happen."

"Sunshine boy?"

His face was full of disgust while he repeated those words. His ego was definitelly getting hurt.

"Why are you even hanging with him?" He asked finally turning his head in my direction.

"He is nice to be around. He is childlish and happy all the time. I like him, you know?" I smiled glancing at him.

"Ew-"

"Don't say that! Do you want me to give you a nickname too? Naruto loves his." I grinned being proud of myself.

The nickname I gave Naruto is good. Very good.

"No thanks." He turned away.

"Come on, love." I said smirking to myself and turning my head fully in his direction to tease him.

I didn't expect from him to blush, but in any case he tried to hide it by turning his head away from me.

"What kind of flirting is that?" His eye twitched, his cheeks flushed a little bit.

"What's wrong with it? Boys flirted like this mostly, and I was the only girl who had the guts to do this with others, but they got used to it." I shrugged. "You know, adults used to say that it's not appropriate for a lady to talk like this."

"Isn't 'love' a feeling? How can you even use this word to flirt?"

"Use your mind, Sasuke. It's so simple..." I sighed, staring up at the clouds once again before continuing. "I used to flirt with everyone who was in my friend group, you know? We just messed around like that all the time."

"But aren't you supposted to flirt with the person you like?" He turned his head again towards me, a hint of curiosity in his expression.

"I like you. Does that count?" I looked back at his dark eyes, his cheeks flushing a little again as he sucked in a breath and turned away again.

He can be adorable after all.

"Just like you like Kiba?"

"Yep, just like with Kiba. I caught him off guard with that move of mine. I like all of you, you all are unique in different ways." I hummed.

We sat in a confortable silence for a few more minutes, just staring at the clouds on the bright blue sky.

"Okay then, love. I think we should go back." He said with a small teasing smirk on his lips.

Oh my god. He is human too.

"I would prefer not too, if you don't mind. There are still a lot of people and I think I will take a shortcut. Will you join me darling?" I spoke, mocking those people who are too polite and talked all highly to play along with him.
