{Chapter 12} - No such thing as Immortality

(Yuki's P.o.v)

We walked back to the academy after the funeral, Kaname kept himself distant and walked behind us. His face plastered with anger, I wish there was more I could do to help him.

" Yuki"

 I heard a familiar voice speak, I looked around me and eventually saw where it came from. It was Zero. I ignored him and continued walking on wards, if Kaname knew he was here I don't know what would happen.

" Thank you, Yuki, you don't know how much this means too us." Spoke Ruka, bowing to me as tears became noticeable in her eyes.

" I know I never knew him aswell as you did, but, I knew him enough to consider him my friend. I'm going to miss him." I spoke, dipping my head down slightly.

" So are we." Tears escaped both of our eyes as we walked in different directions.

...

(Normal P.o.v) 5 hours later...

Zero stayed away from both Kaname and Yuki, he let his temper go to far and he didn't want to hurt anyone else. Sayo was kind enough to comfort Zero, he too would of been hurt.

They both sat by the window in the day class dorm room, both watching as the rain poured down.

* Sounds of thunder* 

Sayo sighs " Do you want to talk about it?" Zero stays quiet, not moving a muscle within his body. His eyes fixed on the rain that drizzled down the window.

" You miss her don't you?" She spoke with a concerned look.

" You don't know how much." He whispered.

* Knock, knock, knock*

Sayo sighed as she got up from her chair and walked over towards the door. When she opened it there stood Yuki with a fake smile on her face. Sayo let her in and she sat next to Zero, who first had a shocked face but hugged into Yuki as they both watched the rain continue to pour.

Kaname sat in his room, it was dark and the room was trashed. All of the wall panels had been ripped out, the floor with a huge dent in it, the curtains torn to pieces and his shirt torn with blood stained to it. ( I bet you can guess who's)

He held a smashed picture frame which held a photo of; Him, Senri, Aido, Takuma and, of course, Akatsuki.

" You know this is becoming a bad habit for you." Spoke Levi, who was stood by a broken table on the floor.

" And what would you know?" He gave a sharp glare at him, his fangs sneaking past his lips.

" Well, I know that if I was you I would be planning my revenge instead of sitting around here feeling sorry for myself."

" And why would I take advice from you?"

" You don't, you just think for yourself. After all, it does come down to the choice you make. Just make sure it isn't one you will regret." Levi turned and walked out of the door.

...

" Seems a bit quiet in here doesn't it?" spoke a voice, causing Yuki to jump and turn around.

" Shuu! What are you doing here?" Yuki stood up with amazement, her eyes starting to recover from the shock.

" Levi sent me to get Sayo, I knew this was the only place she could of gone." Sayo stood up and started to walk towards the door, Yuki began to speak quickly.

" Oh, Well Uhm, bye Sayo!" Sayo turned.

" Later Yuki!" She spoke with a happy tone and skipped out of the door into the hallway.

Both Zero and Yuki stayed quiet for a while, neither daring to speak a word to each other. Zero turned to find a bandage covering Yuki's neck.

" Where did you get that!" He demanded from her.

" Get what?" Yuki gave a confused look.

" Those bite marks! Where did you get them?" Zero raised himself from his chair slightly.

" Oh...Uhm..."

" YUKI?!" Zero shot up onto his feet.

" Kanato fed from me the other day!" She exclaimed, shaken from Zero's yell.

" And are you feeling alright?" His voice turned to comfort as he sat back down.

" Not really. I find it hard to get out of bed and too eat. I begin to bruise easily now."

" That doesn't sound right." Zero became confused.

" Well... he is a pure blood after all." She stated, looking away from Zero's eyes.

" What!... How long have you known he was a pure blood?" Zero yelled, shooting up from his chair as he slammed his fist against the cold glass of the window.

" Since he got here, Zero." Yuki hesitated, still looking away from Zero's eyes as she spoke

" So, I take it Ayato is a pure blood aswell." He brings his hand down to his side, starting to calm down slightly.

" Yes, and before you say anything else, yes I did know at the time I was dating him!"

Zero nodded his head and sat down. They both sat in silence once again.

" Kaname is going to become a problem for us soon." levi spoke with a smirk, as he stopped a little behind Sayo on the roof top.

" Oh, so you've seen to that have you." Sayo also gave a smirk, if anything it was a proud smirk.

" Yes, all I really did was say a few words. The rest is up to him."

" There is no doubt he is going to go after Zero." Sayo started laughing and then suddenly stopped " And when he does, we'll be ready..."  She opened her eyes " ... To kill him!"

 Kaname finally stood up, he walked towards the window continuing to watch the rain run down the glass. He sighed opening a drawer near his bed to then open a box with a devilish smile raising onto his face.
