{Chapter 5} - A damaged soul

*Knock, knock, knock*

" Uh, Lord Kaname. It's Aidou-ou"

" Did you find her?" Kaname pulled him into his room, pinning him to the chair he was layed on a few moments ago.

" No. I'm sorry Lord Kaname."

" You idiot, I told you to come back when you found her." He grew with frustration, hating himself for yesterdays events.

" I looked everywhere, Lord Kaname, but she's nowhere to be found."

" I'm such a fool." He covered his face with the palm of his hand, biting down on his thumb to prevent him from lashing out.

" Lord Kaname, don't say that."

" I can say anything I want, Aidou, Don't ever correct me." He snapped, punching the table beside him that once held a lamp.

" Lord Kaname, is everything alright?" spoke Ruka, stepping into Kaname's room slowly.

" I'm fine, Ruka, now please leave at once." She bowed and turned but stopped.

" Yes, Lord Kaname, by the way ... I saw Yuki this morning." 

" You did?" He gasped, almost relieved.

" Yes, I believe she was leaving Ayato's room."

" Him? She was with HIM!" His anger reached it's limit and his actions became uncontrollable. With Aidou still pinned against it by Kaname, He picked up the chair with all of his strength and threw it out the window. 

"Ahhh...." A light voice echoed in a small scream.

Glass shattered, the chair hit the floor forcefully. Bursting through the gates and almost hit Yuki. 

" Yuki! Look out." Zero ran towards her, pushing her out of harms way before the chair came into contact. 

It continued to roll until the final piece was broken, a young girl stood by the pieces. She had blue eyes with long brown hair and blond tips.  

She wore glasses with a long leather jacket, black shoes and a black dress with white tights. She walked past the now broken chair and walked through the gate. Approaching the Night dorm class room.

*Knock, knock*

" Yes, can I help you?" Akatsuki answered the door, he was surprised by the stranger that was stood in front of him.

" Yes. I'm a new student here." She spoke gracefully.

" You are?" He gasped.

She  nodded, eyes closed with a smile on her face. Akatsuki let her in, she dropped her bags which where in her left hand and took out her earphones. 

" I'm sorry about the mess of this place, dorm president Kuran hasn't been himself lately." He nervously laughed, with his hand stroking the back of his head.

" No need to worry. I'm sorry where are my manners. My names Sayo Mukami, what's yours?" She turned quickly, holding out her hand.

"Mines Akatsuki Kain, It's nice to meet you." They both shook hands.

" It's nice to meet you too." She continued to smile.

...

Akatsuki stops outside Kaname's room, clearing his throat before he spoke. "Lord Kaname."

" Leave me alone Akatsuki"

 " Theres a new student here who needs to speak with you."

" There is?, send them in."

He opened the door and let Sayo walk in. Kaname was stood by the window, not bothering to turn around and look at the new student. A sound of a door closing was enough to break the silence

" You know I would have thought a pure blood vampire would be much better than this." She spoke with a smirk.

" And what would you know." Kaname had is arms folded, looking out the window as his voice roared with anger.

" I too am a pure blood."

His head shot round with a gasp, facing the woman that was in front of him as his eyes widened. She looked exactly like Yuki. His voice became demanding, as his breathing became louder.

" Who are you?" 

" Sayo Mukami. I know what your name is so no need to introduce yourself."

" How?"

" I was told that you are my older brother."

" Older brother?" He began to relax. 

She nodded keeping a stern look on her face. 

" By who were you told?"

" Does the name Rido mean anything to you?"

" Yes, it does," Kaname turned his head, his hands clutching into fists.

" He stole me when I was born, I was given to the Mukami family to portray as their younger sister. When I grew older I received a diary which confirmed everything. I am the  daughter of Juri and Haruka, the twin sister of a girl named Yuki and I have a brother name Kaname Kuran."

Kaname didn't move, he didn't say anything either. He stood there paralyzed, unable to think. Falling fell to his knees, as his head overcrowded with thoughts. Confused by what was happening.

" All this time and I never knew." His head was in his hands, still adjusting to the news.

" Stop this, I really didn't hope for this reaction." She tilted her head with a smile, arms folded playfully. " Now let's get this room cleaned up, you can't live like this forever."

" Uh. Yes, I supposed your right." He jump to his feet, with thoughts still going through his head. 'How did I not know? Why didn't anyone tell me? I'm such a fool'

Through out the day they stared at each other while they cleaned his room. Sayo smiled at him every now and again when he looked at her, but he would quickly turn his head.

" You can look at me you know. I don't mind." She had a kind smile on her face, Kaname couldn't help but stare. She looked a lot like Yuki.

" Sayo. Do you mind if I ask a question?" She stopped cleaning and looked up.

" Of course not ,ask away." Another smile grew on her face.

" Do you by any chance know what type of twin you are?"

" Yes, I'm identical. So I probably look a lot like Yuki" 

" I see... Uh, There is something I should tell you." Her smile vanished and was replaced with worry.

" Oh what's that?" 

Kaname took a deep breath" Yuki is here at the Academy."

" She is?" Her eyes widened in surprise.

" Yes. Although, she is human and therefore is in the day class."

" I see. I guess she won't know me either." Her face grew into sadness.

" No, she won't. She doesn't even know I'm her brother."

"Well, then I guess we will have to keep it a secret." She gave him a wide open smile.

" Yes, we will." For the first time within 4 day's Kaname smiled.
