Awakened

Ch 5

After Afriel left I guided Tyler to the couch and awkwardly huddled away. I dropped on my bed and locked the door, keeping a close eye on the door. I did not trust Tyler to just sleep on the couch, but apparently he did right until sunrise.

It was Saturday but I still woke up at 6:30am. I got dressed into a Tempo Spliced Sports Crop, a High Rise Compression Tights, Black laced sneakers and my Active Slimline Puffer Jacket. I went outside and saw Tyler sleeping on the couch. I could not help myself. I grabbed a pillow And threw it at Tyer. "GET UP YOU SLEEPYHEAD" I yelled at tyler. He awoke with a start and looked at me with a wonky smile. I just turned around and walked into the kitchen to make myself a smoothie before I go for a run

I awaken in my fluffy purple nightgown and gaze out the window to see Afriel jogging down the street. She clearly had known Tyler and I wanted to talk to her about it but she seemed to be avoiding me. I walked downstairs and was startled by Tyler sitting on the couch watching TV with a confused expression. "Hey! What are you doing making yourself at home" I put my hands on my hips like Afriel did, but instead of Tyler listening he just laughed whilst muttering and pointing to the TV "Is this what you always watch!"

I ran faster than I have ever before, I felt like I wasn't touching the ground. Tomorrow is the day Georgia Awakens, I hope she's pure. I just don't like how Tyler is here. I could tell it was 7:30 so I was starting to head back. Today I'm going to go to the mountains to stretch my wings. I was about to reach the front door when a hunter Pushed me hard against the wooden door making a loud thud echoing around us. *

Me and Tyler swiveled around to the door at the noise. I ran to check it out but Tyler put his hand out going first. He opened the door and found Afriel pushed up against the wall by a girl with flowing blonde locks and pitch black eyes.... A hunter. Tyler grabbed the Hunters arms and wrenched her free from Afriel. Suddenly Tyler spread beautiful feathery white wings and charged at the hunter. I was absolutely helpless in this situation...

I gasped in horror. Tyler was an angel like me!. How did I not know. Tyler returned and folded his wings back. "YOUR AN ANGEL, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME" I screamed in frustration at him.

I gaped up at Tyler in shock. The Hunter locked eyes with me and opened jet black wings as it flew at me. I rolled out of its reach as It crashed to the floor. I whimpered as the sharp corners of its wings scraped my arm. Afriel stopped telling off Tyler and noticed what was going on *

I spread my huge angelic wings and lunged at the HUnter I rolled on top of the Hunter and used my angelic powers to kill it while it was screeching and crawling at me. I screamed and my power burst through me disintegrating the HUnter. I looked back up and both tyler and Georgia who looked a me in shock "What?" I asked sweetly.

I giggled nervously, rubbing my arm and removing the blood. I stood up shakily. It felt like I had been drained whenever a hunter was near. I was glad to have Afriel always by my side being that she was amazing at taking out hunters

"Back to you Tyler, why didn't you tell me you were an angel" I said as I folded my enormous wings back behind me.

Tyler looked away before speaking "You know I came from a family with no sign of angelic magic... I was offered a job as a guardian of a half-blood the same time as you... but to do it I had to have wings and I was technically human so I was forced to give up something I loved.... you... i never had wings whilst we were together and when I said that I didn't want to be with you... I did it to protect half-bloods and gain my wings ..." A single tear dropped down his face.

"If you protect half bloods, why did you attack Georgia last night?" I asked quietly. "What do you want for breakfast?" I asked Georgia.

"I didn't attack her last night! Sure I protect half-bloods but I also study about them too! Do you think Georgia would have followed me if I said oh come with me! We will just do a few tests on your existence that may cause injuries! I had to threaten her, unfortunately!" Tyler roared. " Umm.. Sure I'll have breakfast..." I whisper

"Threaten her, that's it!, I think i remember that blood oozing down her throat." I roared back. "WHaT DO YOU WANT FOR BREAKFAST?!" I said angrily at Georgia

I tried to tell Afriel what I wanted but Tyler's voice roared over mine. "She was pulling against my will! She was the one making the blood trickle down her throat by straining against me!" And with that he stormed out of the room in anger

I sighed "Sorry, what did you say you wanted Georgia?"

I was about to explain what I wanted, but instead I couldn't help but blurt out. " You and Tyler were in a relationship... Why didn't you tell me..." Betrayal was written all over my features.

I sighed. I didn't feel like eating as well. I unfolded my wings and flew away high into the treetops. I travelled all the way to the mountains. I didn't want to go back, maybe I won't I thought. I sat at the top of the highest mountain and fell asleep there. My wings still unfolded, resting.

I had to do it.. Tyler thought flying up to the top of the mountain. There he saw Afriel sleeping like a princess with her wings spread out. Pain wrenched in his heart at what his love used to be... but he knew now who he loved... He tapped her shoulder and she yelped and jumped up. She glared at him. "What do you want?" She asked aggressively. He may as well just tell her know. " Your friend is always so fired up.. She is strong, brave and.... I think this is the first love I have found since you..." Tyler stared into the sky, knowing how awful this sounded *

I sighed at sat up, "She is different" I said. "She is my Responsibility though, and if you two are going in a relationship I am going to be testing you. But, What would you do If she is a rebellion, it's forbidden and the penalty is death to interact with the enemy?" I said sadly. I used to love him so much, but he broke my heart for wings. I did not want Georgia to be like me. She does not know what i've been through

He looked up and said "I just know she will be an Order.." And with that he flew away

Suddenly a thought went in my mind. He left me because he can't love and have wings at the same time. When he and Georgia get together, he will lose his wing and leave her. With that I Got up and jumped off the cliff, spreading my wings and flying to catch up with Tyler. I finally reached him and I was flying beside him. *

Tyler glanced over at Afriel. "I can understand if you don't agree because I abandoned tou but you ha-" Afriel butted in, letting her words tumble from her mouth."If you fall in love again you will lose your wings and then have to betray Georgia to regain them. Tyler stopped dead in his tracks

I saw Tyler fly downwards and hit land. I flew down after him. I stopped and sat down next to him. "Well" I said. "Will you give up your wings for love?" I said
