Bible knew instantly that something was wrong when he sent Apo home. He was beyond terrified. Hyperventilating. Just because he was late. It has been almost six years since both of them last saw each other. He could sense the air of nervousness on his friend. It raises a flag when Apo decides that they should hang out in a quieter place and for only an hour.
When they passed the hour, Bible thought that it was nothing as Apo seemed happy to catch up with him. Now he thinks otherwise. He talks with his partner about the sinking feelings due to this situation and is glad that he did not overreact. He also felt that it was shady.
This is the reason why the Bible sacrifices his time and now stands in the front receptions of Mile’s company. He was the one that knew Apo since forever and stayed with him throughout everything. Apparently, squeezing your plan into the CEO schedule is not a good idea.
“I’m sorry Sir. You need to make an appointment at least a week prior to the meeting. Khun Phakphum's schedule is busy for the next few days. We cannot squeeze in any unimportant meeting”, said the receptionist. She smiled apologetically
“How can I make an appointment now? It is actually an urgent matter. I just need to see him. At least 5 minutes.” Bible almost begged, the apologetic face of the worker made him stop. She is just doing her work.
With a smile still blooming in her face, she said “I’m sorry. It is not our procedure. I could be in big trouble. I’m sorry sir”. All he could do now is sigh, if this is a drama, Mile already walked into the luxury company lobby but with no luck, no sight of the older man within his line of sight. Bible walked out of the company lobby straight to his motorcycles.
The flash of memory of Apo hurriedly climbed into his apartment, the tears rolling down the flush cheek terrified him deeply. He tried to call the older friend. His number was blocked from the man. Apo would never do that, they had a great time. It was crazy that his number was blocked. It just deepened the suspicion that something unspeakable happened. Bible take a deep breath and walk into the reception table again.
“Could you tell Khun Mile that I need to talk to him. Highlighting that it is about Apo and my name is Bible. This is my number”, he said and slid a piece of paper on the top of the table to the flabbergasted receptionist. He left soon after.

7 years agoBible runs with a stack of documents that he needs to send before the end of the day. He was too preoccupied with the party that their rich senior was throwing the night before. He forgot to actually finish and retouch his final assignment. His step was caught on something and fell, paper went everywhere. It was a shit timing, sweat gathering on his forehead. A colourful curse flying out from his mouth freely.
“Wow. My ear was really bless with your words”, someone kneel down and helps him collect the papers. It was a miracle it did not took any damage from the falls. Bible was too stress to notice the other was looking at his paper, “Oh, Prof Sun’s assignment?”, he said with a chuckled.
It instantly make Bible look at the other, the beautiful eyes and smile greeted him. It almost took his breath away. He chuckled and it led to a full blown laugh. Bible frown, slightly offended by the laugh, “What?”
The laugh went on for a while, there almost tears falling from the other person. He forget instantly about the assignment he needed to submit. Curiosity was eating him up, “Dude, what?. Why are you laughing? Amused at someone else's trouble?”
He wiped the invisible tears in his eyes, a chuckled “No, but Bible, Prof. Sun give us one more week to finish this”, he pointed at the paper in his hands, and more chuckled out of the pouty lips “He told us on class yesterday and he not in campus until next week”,
