35. I'm gonna find out

I woke up really early in the morning because I felt sick. My head was spinning and I had to vomit.

"I'll call at work and tell them you're not feeling well. Stay at home chérie", Kylian rubbed my back as I was kneeing down in front of the toilet completely exhausted.

"No, I have to go Kylian", I said getting up and cleaning my mouth.

"Babe, listen. I don't wanna worry about you feeling sick at work and something happening. Stay here please, so I know you're safe.", he said, "Come on, lay back down in bed and I'll worry about everything else."

He disappeared out of the door as soon as I was in bed and when he came back he brought me a heat pad and a tray with breakfast.

"Voilà!", he smiled.

"You're an angel!", I smiled back, "Like literally how did I deserve you?"

"You mean how did I deserve YOU", he leaned down and kissed my forehead.

"Thank you", I referred to the pancakes he had made me with fruits and fresh pressed orange juice.

"Alright babe, I'm getting ready real quick and then I have to leave for training", he kissed me on the lips this time before walking into the bathroom.

When he came out and was ready to go, I had finished all the food.

"I'm gonna bring this in the kitchen, heat up the heat pad once again and then I have to go", he said taking the tray and the heat pad from me.

He came back and placed the heat pad on my stomach for the cramps I had.

"Call me if you need me. I'll make sure to have my phone on me or near me, okay?", Kylian told me caressing my head softly and making sure I was fully under the covers.

"Yes, thank you", I smiled at him, "Have fun!"

"Je t'aime mon chouchou", he kissed my lips one last time before he went to training.

Honestly, I was already feeling so much better. Kylian is so sweet and since I'm pregnant he's so gentle with me, I adore it. Since I didn't go to work and it's still early, I decided to take a nap. I put a movie on the iPad and crawled up under the covers.

The ringing of the doorbell woke me up. Who is this? I took a look at my phone, but there weren't any missed texts or calls. Confused I got up, put on my slippers and walked to the door opening it.

"Oh it's you! Aren't you supposed to be at training? Wait did something happen?", I already imagined the worst.

"Relax Emma, everything's alright. I had some muscle pains so I only did some individual training. But Kyks told me you weren't feeling so good, so I decided to come by and give you company", Ethan shyly admitted.

"That's cute of you. But I'm already feeling better. It wasn't anything serious, just morning sickness", I waved it off signaling for him to come in.

When he walked in, I noticed he had a blue bag in his hands.

"Yeah about that.. I wanted to talk to you", he spoke.

"Sure. What is it?", I asked closing the door and walking into the living room.

He was getting nervous and honestly this made me nervous too because I really had no clue what was going on.

"I just.. I feel like I reacted like a jerk.", he said, "I mean when you told us about..That you were pregnant."

He now looked up at me.

"Ethan don't worry", I began, but he quickly shrugged me off.

"No, I do have to worry! This wasn't alright and I'm sure it came off in a really bad way.. But honestly it's just.. I don't know how to say it but I am so happy for you two and I really couldn't imagine someone better for my brother. This situation is so new for me and I'm overwhelmed by the thought of being an uncle, but not because I don't wanna be one. No! It's quite the opposite. I have so many positive feelings about this that I can't even put them into words and I first had to let it sink in, think about it. You really flashed me with that information, but Ems I want you to know that I am so so fucking happy! And if you need me, no matter for what, either now or when the baby's here or just any day, I am here for you and I'll always be there for you", Ethan said.
