Hey all unfortunately I was hurt really bad by someone I thought cared for me, so I'm in quite a bad place, Im going to keep writing to distract myself I also will be taking over the story Fashion and Fame in time as that author will no longer have access to this account. Stay amazing I love everyone who takes the time to comment, read, like, it means the world to me. xxxx

You look down to see Kat stirring but that isn't your concern your concern is the damsel in distress at the top of the stairs. 'She fell!' the Baroness shakes her hands erratically then runs to your cell and slides down the wall panting, she's having a panic attack. 'Victoria.' you rush over to her and crouch down beside her taking her hands. 'I didn't I swear.' You draw her against your chest holding her tightly. 'I didn't, I didn't.' You rock her gently in your arms. 'I know that you didn't do anything, I trust you, I don't need you to say anything.' she looks up at you uncertain her eyes filled with tears. You hold her gaze and can't for the life of you understand why anyone would enjoy tormenting such a woman. 'Hard day huh?' tears have started to stream. 'It was a lot with the press,' she sobs. 'Sweetheart it's okay, I won't let anyone hurt you.'

You see how distressed she is and take a hold of her hand a soft smile on your features. 'Just focus on me, on us, nothing else matters.' you whisper to her and she jumps when Reynolds enters the room. 'People have a habit of falling around you.' he bobs on his heels. 'I think slotting you for a few days might change that.' The Baroness looks at you. 'What? What's that?' she asks in a panic.

'It's where a prisoner is left alone in a cell in a paper gown, just a toilet and a mattress on the floor. You have no right to do that, she did nothing wrong.' you stand up to Reynolds. The Baroness is touched but also terrified, the cell is bad enough but being alone is worse. '(y/n)' you turn to her she shakes her head. 'I can't do that, I can't cope, please don't let him.' Reynolds rolls his eyes and marches over to the Baroness to yank her up. You stand in front of her. 'Not a fuckin chance.' he sneers at you. 'Do you want to go in her place? I'm sure someone else would claim her with you out of the way.' he smirks. You keep eye contact with him. 'Try what you must, you aren't taking my girl.' your growl sends warmth through the Baroness.

'What's going on?' Kat frowns rubbing her head. 'I'm slotting Ms. Hellman for her attack on you.' Reynolds informs with delight. 'Who? Oh, the posh chick? She didn't, she tried to grab me I slipped on the stairs, and missed my footing when the lights went out.' Reynolds looks irritated. 'Is that true?' Kat gives him a deadpan stare. 'No, she just met me, tried to murder me, and I decided hey let her try again. She didn't push me. Didn't that honey that used to work here die the same way? I guess I got lucky.' Reynolds clenches his jaw 'I'll be keeping an eye on you Hellman.' he warns her and leaves. The Baroness closes her eyes in relief. 'Thank you for that, Katherine was it?' she quirks an eyebrow. 'Kat is fine baby girl, what's the deal with you and Mussolini there anyway? Reynolds isn't usually such a dick.' You snort. 'Speak for yourself and it is a long story.' you explain.

'Thank you, Kat.' she corrects. 'Kat, this is the special someone I was telling you about, meet the Baroness.' you introduce. The Baroness holds out her hand. 'Victoria is fine from friends.' Kat looks at her hand and ignores it choosing to embrace her instead. 'Oh, you are friendly aren't you.' The Baroness is uncomfortable. Kat lets go rubbing her head again. 'Im going to see if I can go get some ice.' she informs and leaves. You get a tissue and wipe her tears. '(y/n), you would never just leave me would you? When we were at the stairs I had this horrible notion that you would think I-and....' You smile. 'I choose you for you, you didn't do anything wrong it may have been a short while but I believe I know you. You aren't some evil old witch, I just think maybe no one has loved you properly before. You've always been rich and now that's gone your vulnerable.'

The Baroness studies you. 'I agree, but who mentioned old?' she pouts. You burst out laughing at her and shake your head. 'I've never had anyone be loyal to me let alone love, I thought the Baron was different even after I found out he preferred men a small part of me believed he would eventually choose me. However he kept going back to that awful man, spare that he had an affair with that maid, he said he was only interested in men but I sometimes wonder if it was that he didn't want me. If there was something wrong with me. It was too painful so I shut myself off from the world. I know I can be a bit much at times, I've heard the evil word thrown around I suppose it's just a shield and I've become so familiar with the part I don't know how to be anything else.' she confesses. 'Evil isn't born, it's made, you were forced to go into survival mode because of a man who never deserved you. I'm not him, I'd never do that.'

The Baroness is calm and it's all thanks to you just taking time to consider her feelings and comfort but providing the bare minimum, that's the sad part. The Baroness leans in kissing you, you return the kiss tenderly. 'Oi, hooker.' Barb calls Kat. Kat walks over to her. 'What do you want wheels.' Barb sneers. 'Did she do it then? The posh bitch did she do it?' Kat pauses and shakes her head. 'No don't be daft.' she laughs. 'You paused, she did, didn't she?' Kat shrugs. 'I have no idea it all happened in a blur but I doubt it, (y/n) likes her and she sounded really sweet when I met her. She wouldn't hurt a fly.'
