The party

I yawn and I get up. I stretch and stand outside the hut. I look and I see beautiful coral decorations and flowers all over the village.

Its to celebrate new life. Mothers child. They are not born yet but are expected to come soon.

I hope they are a girl I can't deal with another Anoung.

I decide that I'll go and see kiri. We have become closer recently and I often go swimming with her.

I walk along the rope bridge and towards the Sully hut.
"Looking for Kiri?" Neyteri says who is putting up her decorations

"Yes" I say smiling
"Shes inside,feel free to go in"

I hope that Neteyam isn't there i feel it will be awkward after yesterday.

I would be lying if I said I haven't thought about it . I keep replaying the moment in my head.

I walk into the hut and kiri runs up to me.

"Y/n!,your early. Ready to go?"

I nod .

"Lo'ak and Neteyam are out riding their ikrans so its just us".

Me and kiri swim though the water towards the reef.

"So whats at the decorations about" Kiri asks swimming on her back

" To celebrate new life" I reply  swimming next to her

"There's a celebration tonight" I carry on

" Cool." Kiri simply replies before diving under

I was about to dive when I look up and I see Neteyam and Loak speed past on their ikrans.

I look at Neteyam for a minute, but when he turns back and sees me staring i quickly dive under.

It has began I get dark and after I went to swim with Kiri I have been spending my day setting up the beach.
Mother has been trying to help , but Father won't let her.

I finish folding up seaweed and crab and put it on the sand . The beach looks ready . The Navi had used Bioluminescent flowers from the spirit tree so the beach is nicely lit up.

I dust sand of my hands and walk up the beach to see how mothers doing.

"Hi mother.." I say walking into the hut

" Y/n? Why aren't you ready? Why are you still wearing the old shells I made you new ones and oh your hairs a mess..."

I laugh mother always worrys about how we present ourselves but I couldn't really care less.

She drags me over to where all the female Na'vi are doing their hair and mother sits me down and tells the Na'vi what she wants me to have.

I sigh knowing ill be here for a while.

I swear I fell asleep because when I awake

They bring me a bowl of water so I can see my hair and I gasp slightly.

"Oh my how am I supposed to take this out later -" I begin

Mother nudges me in the stomach before talking.

"She looks beautiful. Thank-you"

I pick up the bowl and look again

it is beautiful.
With earnings made from perls i smile l.

"Now." Mother says
" Time for the clothes"

"But-"

I walk out of the hut to show Mother the outfit. You can tell she picked it NOT me.

"Wow-" Mother begins
" You look beautiful daughter"

" I look ridiculous" I sigh

" Well your wearing it. My celebration my choice"

" But-"

" No buts" Mother says walking away
" When I see you at eclipse you better be wearing it "

I look down at myself.
And I cringe . I look like a tree.
And Bearley  and covering.

I see a group of Na'vi walk past and I run into the hut.

No way am I wearing this.  I look down at myself,

I hate pink and why beads and I can Bearley breath because of whatever is on my neck.

I sigh and walk over to a blanket that mother had made ages ago .
I pick it up and I rap it around myself.

Its the moment i have been praying would not come ,eclipse.

Mother wants the whole family to walk in together.  Its so embarrassing.

I hate this stuff mainly having to be around Na'vi.  I prefer being myself In the sea.

Alone.

" Come on Y/n" I hear Mother say
"It time to go"

I walk out in the blanket and see Tsieya and Anoung wearing similar outfits.

"Leave the rug" Mother says

I sigh and throw the rug back inside.

I walk by Tsieya. I link my arm in hers.

" I literally want to die" I whisper to her

" Cmon y/n it will be fun , and oh the dancing your so good at dancing"

I put my face in my hands.

As we app the beach people move so we can get through.  I now have to move just behind Anoung because of age .

I see the Sully family and Kiri waves at me.

Then I see Neteyam.
