"You have a lot of explaining to do, young lady!" Midnight barked, crossing her arms and leaning against the nurses office door she had just slammed behind her, a little worn out after having to knock out a handful of students for their and your own safety.
"Now now Midnight, be gentle. Being an Omega is a scary thing, she has justifiable reasons for keeping it a secret." Recovery girl cooed as she took your temperature and pulse, trying to keep you calm.
When you didn't speak, Recovery Girl hummed thoughtfully, pulling out a lollypop and taking off the wrapper before trying to hand it to you.
"Or she didn't even know she was an Omega until just now."
Nail on the head. You nodded.
Midnight sighed, taking a seat on the end of your bed, looking like a disappointed mother as she watched Recovery girl try to feed you the candy.
The whole time your eyes were on your hands folded in your lap, unable to process anything other than one fact. You were screwed.
Your chin was gently pulled to open your mouth and a sweet ball of candy dropped onto your tongue, the sugar rush bringing you back to reality.
Recovery girl held onto the lollipop stick until your hand came up to hold it for yourself and you began to suck at the sugar.
Your cousins were going to kill you when they found out. They'd drag you out of here and hide you away. Omegas just weren't safe in the world on their own. How could you even tell them?
After a few minutes, you spoke up, afraid to know the answer to the question you wanted to ask.
"Will I be kicked off the hero course? I've heard that Omegas aren't allowed to continue hero studies..."
Midnight exhaled deeply, putting her hands on her hips with a concerned expression plastered across her face before it melted into a soft smile.
"That's just rumour. With today's medical advances there's no reason for you to leave the hero course. You've done so much already, why throw it all away?"
She gently sat down on the bed next to you and wrapped an arm around your shoulder, her beta scent comforting you.
"Normally Omega bodies are weaker before they even know their status. If you've made it this far then it's just pheromones you need to worry about, right?" Recovery Girl chimed in, writing out a lengthy looking prescription that made you gulp.
"I don't have anything on hand over than scent patches, so you'll need to be wary around Alphas. Their scent might be amplified due to your new second gender and it may prove overwhelming at first. You'll get used to it and I'll order some blockers to help your senses adjust slowly. Until then, I have nose plugs. They won't cancel out all smells, but they will help muffle them."
Great.
"I'd recommend taking the rest of the day to relax. Keep yourself occupied in your room and stay by yourself for a while. There'll be a lot of questions that Midnight will answer before the students return to the dorms this afternoon and I'm sure they'll be instructed to not bother you."
She reaches into a drawer and pulls out an old looking leaflet. The title makes you nauseous.
'So you're an Omega! What now?'
Yeah... What now?
She also passed you a cardboard box with a picture of a plaster looking item on the front and a box with swimming pool style nose plugs.
Subtle...
"Now, go rest."

Bakugo stared out of the classroom window as Midnight gave an impromptu lecture on Omegas in society and the rules the class would need to follow around the Omega that was attending class with them.
