9. Too Close

"Hey, (y/n), hold on! What did he say to you?"

You made it halfway through the upstairs hall when Kaminari all but cornered you.

Your face was still red as you turned to him, reluctant to speak with your mind still churning.

Bakugo dreamed of you? And not just dreams, but dirty ones?

He moans your name…

"Oh, hey, were you calling me? I didn't hear you..." You clear your throat, looking anywhere but him as you tried to push away that look Bakugo had given you as it circled your mind endlessly. Calm. Close

… fuck.

"Cut it, (y/n) what the hell did he tell you to make you act like this? You were smiling barely a minute ago and now you're... This!" He gestured to your nervous fidgeting and you shook your head.

"It's embarrassing... Not for me, for someone else. Well... Me too, but-"

"What is?" He pressed, crossing his arms and you stubbornly turned away, looking for an escape as you shifted from foot to foot.

You were trying to scrub the events from your brain... There's no way you'd broadcast that to one of the loudest and loose lipped Alphas you knew… no, he simply was forbidden to know.

Kaminari took a step closer and you froze up a little when his electric eyes narrowed suspiciously. He wasn't about to let it go as easily as you hoped.

"Was it something about me?"

Him?!

Your mouth dropped open and you shook your head.

"No, of course not! Why would he have said anything about you?" You paused as you saw a flash of discomfort in his face.

He was hiding something too.

"What would he have even told me about you that would have freaked me out this much for you to think it WAS you?"

Now it was his time to blush.

"Uh... Kami-?"

"Look..." He came forward another step, forcing you to back up into a wall, the distance between you vastly closing.

"There's no point in beating around the bush here, I told Kiri something earlier tonight and I was worried he told you. And I'd rather it came from my own mouth."

A look of bewilderment took over your face as he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, struggling for the right words.

"Well... It was about you and... How I... And I know it might just be the whole..." He started and stopped a lot before closing his eyes.

"Maybe I could just show you?"

You were so lost. What the heck was he blabbering about? This wasn't the Kaminari you knew, the overconfident goof who said whatever fell into his head without thinking.

This was new.

Scary.

"Show me what?" You asked softly, your curiousity bothering you, your whole body shifting uncomfortably under the electric blonde Alphas presence.

"(Y/N)..." He took another step closer, his chest almost touching yours, making your eyes widen in slow realisation.

"Oh, Kaminari, I don't think you've got the right- MMMPHH-!"
