Hormone pills were a godsend.

Seriously.

It had taken only two days for them to arrive but those two days had been enough to drive you insane from the chaffing the nose plug left behind. Not to mention the house arrest ('home study') that Aizawa and Principal Nezu had agreed on until the pills had time to arrive and kick in.

The girls had been sweet enough to take you shopping for new clothes once you'd had 24 hours worth of pills in your system. Hagakure mentioned your pants being rolled up loud enough for Momo to hear one too many times and the Alpha female had completely taken charge.

Within an hour of arranging it all of the girls were suited and booted for a trip to the mall.

Considering everything that happened, it was nice to hang out with female energy and get out of the dorms for a change of scenery. Plus, the fresh air was very much welcomed.

By the end of your shopping adventure Momo and Jiro had gone off to get a coffee together and Mina had disappeared for a 'mystery' date of her own. Tsu and Hagakure needed to catch up on a last minute essay, leaving just you and Ochaco to wander back to the bus station a few hours later on your own, bags in tow.

"How are you and Izuku?" You ask when you were both alone and she smacked your arm, face bright red.

"Come on, do you have to? Why can't you just pretend he's my friend until I'm ready to tell you otherwise?"

You laughed, pulling out your phone to double check the bus times. One should arrive any moment.

"Sure, sure. Nice to hear you half admit it. Halfway there at last."

"Why don't you bug Mina about Kirishima like that? She's way more obvious." She pouts and you shrug.

"She'd own it if I called her out on it. Besides, it's still a really new thing for her. You and Izuku have had two years of flirting to come out already. Everyone knows."

She groaned, covering her face in embarrassment.

"Really...? Why are you so mean...?"

"Just saying it how it is."

"Oh yeah? So can I say about Bakugo being your knight in shining armour-? Ah!"

You whistled innocently after shoving her off the bustop bench, kicking your feet back and forth, barely scraping the ground. Dammit, you hated being short.

And you hated the fact that Bakugo had indeed saved you from a rather unfortunate mating.

Not that becoming Todoroki's mate would be a bad thing, he’s cute and rich, and on track to be one of the top 10 heroes… It just wouldn't have been the best start to a life together. Not to mention you liked being a lone wolf. You didn’t date, let alone envision mating with anyone…

Poor Todoroki had been adamantly avoiding you since the event and you knew you'd have to break down that barrier eventually and tell him it was okay.

You exhale and look down the street, impatiently waiting for the bus as Ochaco gets back up, looking very grumpy.

"First of all, rude."

Yup.

"And secondly, you have to admit, that was really weird right?"

Yeah... It was.

"But when has Bakugo ever been 100% predictable or acted like any other normal human being?" You offered and she nodded, standing up to flag down the bus that began to make its way down the road.
