Physical looks and Attributes: Pegeen has the distinctive coloring of her 'Black Irish' ancestry (black hair, blue eyes), with a slightly olive complexion from her Greek great-great grandmother. She 5'10", large-boned, about a size 18, big hands and feet, awkward. Her height makes her long-legged; she is not a good athlete except for being a fast runner and jumper.
Education + Career: Pegeen earned a masters in Library Science masters from a university, and now works in in that University library assisting with reference unfortunately assigned to taxes. She dislikes math.
Personality and Quirks: Good humored and easy going, curious, friendly, but awkward in social situations, big eater, likes spicy foods and smelly foods e.g., garlic, few housekeeping skills, no sense of dressing attractively.
Skills and Interests: Omnivorous reader, good memory, likes walks in city or countryside, taking pictures with cell phone, writing poetry, movies, romantic and adventure stories and films, fortune telling.
Likes and Dislikes:Likes animals, trying new foods, traveling, street fairs, parades, fairs, hanging out with friends, collecting stamps, telling fortunes, social media. Dislikes liars and thieves, scheming people, being broke, her job department, math and working with numbers beyond some budgeting and necessary needs, her neighbor, Pete, the wanna-be tax attorney, her hair, which is limp and thin.
Strengths vs. Weaknesses: Strengths: patient, persistent, courteous, intelligent, alert. Weaknesses: She is clumsy but played basketball because of her height and speed. Pegeen is shy, slightly introverted, likes listening to bands, stand-up comics, magic, holidays.
Fears and Aversions: Pegeen dislikes fighting and arguing as she tends to give in when she'd rather not. She sometimes sees strange and frightening images in mirrors, especially late at night. She is afraid of ghosts, haunting, and witches and, and magical beings and creatures such leprechauns, elves and poltergeists. She is afraid of doorknockers.
Superpowers/Special Abilities: Pegeen can tell the future up to about twenty-four hours ahead, and usually has to wait as long as she told the future before she can tell again. That is, if she told the future two hours ahead, she'd have to wait for those two hours to pass before seeing the future again. She believes her ability to see the future is coincidence. She has a perfect sense of direction and can find her way to and from any location.
???: Pegeen especially likes dogs, has worked with the shelter to home them and is a competent dog trainer. She'd like a dog for a pet but is paying off her college loans. She has a black cat. She'd like a boyfriend, but her last boyfriend broke up with her because she had very little extra money for concerts, dinners out, trips, etc. As a joke, a friend who claimed to be a witch "hexed" Pegeen when she was ten and she believes she is haunted. She's right. She is probably possessed by at least one haunt but has gotten somewhat used to it, although it/they often cause her problems.
