In front of your computer screen

You start to read these words I've written

You ought to find some meaning

Some hidden thoughts in between.

The empty bedroom where I sat

Reminds me of the eight years that passed.

I thought I grew older, thought I'd regret

But then these little dreams I must

Are things that I'll never forget.

You searched for meaning in my misery

You searched for reasons to believe in to

Then, you asked yourself is it worth it?

To think of it and understand what it is saying.

But if tomorrow never comes,

Is it one you're willing to live without?

You come to this point and asked,

Am I just a reader?

Or have I understood what she wrote?
