TW: Marley's eating disorder. But in this, Kitty didn't make her start. Marley started on her own accord to lose weight because she was afraid to turn out like her mom.

Kitty was all over Jake and I felt my blood boiling. "Go get your man." Marley nudged my shoulder. "What? No. He isn't a dog." I watched the blonde leaning all over him. "But he is yours. Don't let her walk all over you just because she wears a short red skirt." I nodded and chewed on my lip before he finally got Kitty distracted enough that he could come over to me.

"Hey, cutie. You pick our musical audition song yet?" He asked as he kissed my cheek. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Marley snarked as she rolled her eyes. "Marley! Shh!" I hissed before I looked back at him. "I was thinking about doing "Everybody Talks" if you wanted to." He smiled and nodded. "Okay. Then tomorrow we'll audition." I nodded and took a sharp breath when Kitty walked over.

"I can't believe you're gonna audition for the musical with her. I'd be so much better." She crooned as she dropped her arm over his shoulder. "Kitty! Lay off!" He rolled his shoulder and walked over to my side. "She is my girlfriend. Don't you get that? You're not!" I smiled as he pulled me into his side. She rolled her eyes and stomped off. I leaned up and kissed his cheek before we grabbed our bags and left the library.

Next Day

I ran up to Jake's locker and kissed him on the cheek. "Ready for our audition, babe?" I nodded as he hugged my waist and smiled, shutting his locker before we walked to the auditorium.

The track started playing and he coughed before turning to me and singing. "Ahem. Hey baby, won't you look my way? I could be your new addiction." I smiled as he slid his hand across my lower back and smiled down at me. "Hey, baby. What ya gotta say? All you're giving me is fiction?" I rested my leg against his as I kissed his cheek. "I'm a sorry sucker and this happens all the time." He sang as we walked across the stage. "I find out that everybody talks, everybody talks, everybody talks!" We sang together as Jake ran up behind me and grabbed my hand. "It started with a whisper!! And that was when I kissed her!!"

He held my hands as I pulled one of my legs up and spun side to side. Then I threw myself in his chest, bringing my knee up to rest on his thigh as his hand slid from my waist to my leg. "And then she made my lips hurt!" He sung as he twirled me across the stage. "I can hear the chit chat! Take me to your love shack!" We sang as he grabbed my wrists and I slid down the front of his leg. "Mama's always gotta backtrack! When everybody talks back!" He somersaulted across the stage as I walked next to him. I saw Kitty standing in the wings and I winked at her as Jake stood up.

He offered me his arm and I giggled as we walked across the stage. "Hey, honey, you could be my drug. You could be my new prescription." Jake sang as he smiled down at me. "Too much can be an overdose, all this trash talk makes me itchin!!" I sang and bit my lip as I walked across the stage with my hands behind my back. Jake backflipped across the stage, causing the four alumni members to start cheering. He wrapped his arm around my waist and I wrapped mine around his as we spun side to side. "Oh, my, my dear, everybody talks, everybody talks, everybody talks too much."

His low range came out as I ran my hand down from his cheek to his chest. He took my hands and we danced as we kept singing. "Take me to your love shack!" I jumped on Jake, bending my knees instead of fully wrapping my legs around his waist. "Mama's always gotta backtrack!!" I leaned backwards, grazing the floor with my fingertips as he rested his arm along the length of my spine. He set me down and twirled me again before holding my hands and standing behind me as we danced.

We ran to opposite sides of the stage and started singing overlapping vocals of "everybody talks" and "it started with a whisper" before Jake ran up behind me, grabbing my waist with one hand as I began to body roll and we got in a groove of it. I ran backwards on the stage, making a "come here" motion with my fingers and Jake followed me like a puppy. "Everybody talks, everybody talks, everybody talks back! Uhh!" Jake pulled me into his side and pulled my leg up as I put one hand on his shoulder and the other on his chest. Everyone clapped for us as I panted and Jake kissed my cheek.
