THE LOUD BASS OF "blow the whistle" blared through out the speakers at the frat house as Zoe danced with her friend Jade. The duo thought it would be cute if they matched that night, both dressing up as Daphne and Velma. They had been planning their outfits for over two weeks in advance.

"I go on and on, can't understand how I last so long" Jade sung, slurring her words a little while holding her drink in the other hand.

Zoe just giggled at her singing along and checking to see if she was fine along the way, "Hey I'm going to go get you some water ok, go sit with Anika and Mindy. Please." giving her friend a stern look so she would listen "Ok ok I'm going." She protested walking off.

Turning the corner she tried to get to the kitchen to find some water but she kept getting stopped from bodies dancing or bodies hitting her as they tried to get by too.

One person she bumped into did catch her eye, Tara. It seemed she was in a rush to go somewhere "Tara?"

"Zoe!" Tara exclaimed running up engulfing her best friend with a hug. Yea she's definitely drunk, she could smell the alcohol on her breath. She did notice someone was behind her starting to get irritated—just watching them talk.

"You ok" Zoe questioned.

Tara just nodded her head at her, bringing the boy with her hand in hand leaving, "BE SAFE!" she screamed back over the loud music hoping she heard her.

Successfully, she made it in the kitchen after pushing past two people. She got the waters so Jade, Anika and Mindy could all have one and be sober enough to see the next day. While she grabbed herself two drinks.

"Here you guys go, and remember no more drinking tonight, especially you Velma, you had like 8 shots and a beer." She scolded pointing her finger at her.

"I promise, Daphne." Jade smirked, saluting at her.

"Oh I'm totally done, I can feel the hangover comin—I can feel the headache, oh that's going to hurt." Anika and Mindy joked with one another making her smile to herself. They're so cute.

"I have one question though. How come we have to drink water while you get to drink?" Jade asked turning to her.

"I'm more responsible." She giggled. "Good point good point." Jade chuckled.

She went back to the dance floor, dancing with random strangers around her. This is the best she felt in a while, she was letting lose as she swayed and moved her hips to the music as she got drunk.
