I woke up still sore from the relentless beating from those things. I try to get up only to be pulled down by two lashers.
"E-Eve." I say softly and turn to see her golden orbs looking into mine.
"I'm sorry." She says and runs a hand through my hair.
"What for?" I ask her and she frowns.
"For not being there, for being a horrible girlfriend, for hurting you, and so much more." She says softly. I struggle against her tight grip, after getting an arm out, I place it on her cheek.
"I forgave you a long time ago Eve. I know dating an absolute failure like me, isn't the most luxurious thing." I say softly and gasp as her hold tightens more.
"Don't ever degrade yourself again. I'm the fuck up, not you. I hurt the best thing that has ever happened to me." Evelyn says softly and I put my forehead against hers.
"Guess we're both fuck ups." I say and she smiles.
"Could we go on a date? Like an actual date." She says and I smile.
"Of course Eve." I say and she lets me up. I get dressed in a simple white button up, a white tank top, nice jeans, and some white sneakers. I look over and quickly cover my eyes with a blush.

"You alright Darling?" She asks in a soothing voice.
"A-Am I underdressed?" I ask nervously. I hear the click of her heels and then feel her gently grab my chin.
"Oh Grey my sweet husband. You are always OVERdressed." She purrs. I blush brightly as I don't know how to respond. "I've already made reservations." She says making me confused.
"Oh honey. I made them while I was getting dressed. Shall we?" She asks and I hold my arm out to her. She wraps her arms around mine and I open a portal home. We walk to the garage and Evelyn leads me to a car.
