You carefully reconstructed your sentence, trying to keep your composure. The whole time however, you couldn't help but fidget, or bounce your leg. You had some much energy pulsing through you at that point in time that you could (if wanted) mach run all the way to the tower.

Peppino folded his arms and sighed. "Really? that's what's-a got you so-a stressed?" he sighed in disappointment. "Y/n," he began, leaning closer to you, "That tower has nothing worth looking at-a. I've-a seen it all. And I can assure you that-a you definantly shouldn't-a go!" Peppino yelled the last sentence due to his anxiety boiling over.

You felt your brows furrow in anger. "why not?! Now that I know some things about the tower, I want to know more-! There's so much we could be skimming over and-"

"Enough!-" Peppino yelled. "That-a towers nothing but-a bad news. I'd advise you to-a steer clear of it-a."

You let out a huff of anger, before pulling up your phone and headphones. You started up some music and plugged in your headphones in an attempt to drown out Peppino's voice, and the sounds of customers becoming impatient.

Peppino rolled his eyes at you, before he'd pulled out some raw dough. He kneaded it thoroughly, and precisely. It was something he'd done for years that he'd now perfected.

You couldn't help but feel like you had been a little childish, but, who could blame you? You had an insatiable thirst for adventure, yet you were stuck in a barely functioning pizza place, earning minimum wage in return for your 'efforts'.

You sighed as you stared at the floor. Your mind taking you elsewhere, and away from the Pizzeria.

"Y/n?" Peppino said, as he tapped your shoulder. "it's-a time to lock up-a shop." He handed you the keys as he began to put on his jacket. "Don't-a keep yourself up-a too late now, you've got another day of work ahead of-a you."

You shook yourself from the daze and began to realize you hadn't just zoned out, you'd fallen asleep. There goes your chance of a full nights rest.

You groaned as you put your phone and headphones into your pocket. "fine."

As you picked up your things, you couldn't help but feel a wave of anxiety overtake you. It was so..sudden, and unexpected. You looked around, taken aback by the sudden feeling, before you shake your head.

Calm down, Y/n. It's.. your just being paranoid.

You look around one last time, before you close and lock the pizzeria door behind you.

As you began walking home, you looked back at the tower rubble. Peppino couldn't stop you if he wasn't there, right? He couldn't tell you to step away.. Your fists balled up at the thought of adventure as you quickly ran off to your house with the thought of adventure on your mind.
