The Setup (Prismo x Reader - Adventure Time)

Chapter Three: The Party

After the meetup with such an interesting being, you can't help but only think about him.

Waking up, you realize that you just had a dream about him. You rub your eyes and try to remember anything from the dream, but you can only remember some sort of misty, yellow fog. I think it was a sad dream, you think to yourself, stretching. You put on a shirt and get out of your tent. You pull out your calendar, scratching out "Thursday".
"Wait a minute," you realize. "Todays the day," you glance back and forth, as if you're expecting someone to jump out of the trees surrounding your tent.

"I'm gonna see Prismo today!" You jump up excitedly, almost shouting. You giggle to yourself; you didn't know you could be so happy. You get some cooking supplies from your tent. You've decided you were going to make curry today.

When the curry's ready, all you have to do is pour it in a plate. But you're feeling artsy today, and thus begin making the curry Prismo - shaped. The end result is very cute:

You eat the curry, a bit sad you had to destroy your hard work. But wow, it was delicious! You honestly don't know why you made it Prismo-shaped. It's a little embarrassing, so you promise yourself that you won't tell Prismo you made a curry Prismo.

Nighttime has finally arrived, and you're using one of your maps to find Jake's tree house. He had drawn the house on the map a little crudely, but you can make it out.
Finding the house, which turned out to be a lot bigger than you expected, you knock on the door.

Jake awnsers. "Oh, hey (Y/N). You ready to go to Prismo's party?"

"I'm as ready as I've ever been. I can't remember the last time I went to a party."

"Who's that?" A young boy wearing a strange bear hat points at you.

"Oh, this is (Y/N). Their Prismo's date. (Y/N), this is Finn the Human. We're best bros."

"Cool. Pleased to meet you," you say, smiling at Finn.

"Yeah, sure." Finn seems worried. "Jake, promise you won't be out for too long, alright?"

"Alright, alright, I promise. Don't worry about it. You sure you don't wanna go?"

"Nah, man." Finn said as he sat down on a couch. "I know this is supposed to be a you time thing, and I'm cool with that."

"Okay," Jake said as he took out Prismo's note and pressed the "P" on the end of it. "See you!"

You and Jake teleport to Prismo's place, and it makes you feel dizzy, but you don't feel nearly as scared. Dance music fills the room, and their appears to be many strange people at the party. It's nice to be surrounded by people, though it's a bit overwhelming.

"Oh, hey, you two! I wasn't sure if you were going to make it." You hear Prismo say. He smiles brightly; he seems very excited about your presence specifically.

"Sup, Prismo?" Jake waves.
"Hi, Prismo," You manage to cough out.

"How are things? Have you two talked to each other?"

"Eh..." Jake looks over to you. "We haven't really kept in touch or anything. It's not like (Y/N) has a phone."

"What? I thought you guys would have gotten to know each other by now." Prismo seems confused.

"Sorry," That's all that you can push yourself to say. When you're around Prismo, it can be hard to talk.

"Hey, who's that?" You hear a low voice from the end of the room followed by a few flapping wings. A large, sparkling owl lands right next to you.
