You've stayed at Finn and Jakes' place for only two days, but you already feel guilty just by being there. You feel as if you're taking up space, even though Finn and Jake don't seem to mind at all. However, that doesn't matter to you. You've decided to make up for it by doing many things for them, such as cleaning, running errands, dusting, and sometimes preparing food for them.

Waking up at 9:03 on a sunny day, the birds chirping amongst each other; you get out of your sleeping bag and think for a moment. The wooden floors are cold, and everything is quiet; the sun peers through the small window and lights up the empty room, containing only your backpack and supplies. A small ladybug crawls past your view as your tired eyes slowly track it's movement from one corner of the room to the other.

You stretch out for a bit and go outside in your Pj's. You walk on the rackety and wobbly bridge and gather your laundry you hung the day before.

A cold breeze hits your face as you carefully creep back into your room and dress into your clothes. Once you're finished, you allow a heavy sigh to escape your body as you walk back outside and head toward the center of the treehouse, preparing to make breakfast. However, once you walk in, it turns out Jake has already begun making breakfast, the smell of bacon hitting you to your surprise.
"Oh, Jake, I was gonna make breakfast." You mumble and put on a soft smile to show that you're not genuinely upset.

"Sorry, but you've been doing too much around this place. Makes me kinda feel bad. Ya gotta let other people treat you every so often, okay?"

"Yeah, I guess so. But, I feel bad whenever people do anything nice for me, really... like, I just don't ever expect people to do anything for me at all. And then you offered me a place to stay, and, I mean, I think its made me super guilty, so I'm trying to make up for it."

"You know, I bet Prismo really likes that about you," Jake turns around and places some bacon on three plates.

"Wh-really? What about me?"

"That you don't ask for much. Being a wishmaster who can make anything come true, he prolly gets requests left and right. I'm sure you're a nice change of pace for him."

"Oh, that's awesome." You smirk a bit and look at the window to try to not seem like you care as much as you do. "Do you think it's about time I go and see him again?"

"Definitely. He doesn't get many visitors, I'm sure he would love to see you."

"Yeah, but... what if he thinks I'm needy? Y'know..." You look back and forth and lean in a little. "Maybe I should leave... I've stayed here for too long."

"Nah, you're good. We really don't mind. You've been asking this a lot... you just gotta learn how to relax, y'know? That life of constantly running, it doesn't do you no good."

"Yeaaaaah," you sigh as you look outside the window, gazing at a passing flock of geese.

"...Y'know, after breakfast, I think you should see him." Jake says as he sets down some pancakes on the plates.

"...Prismo?" You snap out of thought. "Oh, but I should go get him something first. I wouldn't want to go to his place without a gift. I'll go to the marketplace and buy groceries for you guys and get something for him while I'm at it, okay?"

"Jeez, well, if that's what you want, then, yeah, but you shouldn't be doing everything around here-"

"Jake. If I don't do anything, then, I'm not earning my right to stay here." You say with a bit of a serious tone. "I'm just making it up to you. I really don't mind." You smile a bit so that it doesn't seem like you're too serious.

"Oh, uh, alright. Sure. Just try to take it easy, 'kay?"

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna go wake Finn up. Breakfast's ready." Jake stretches up the stairs and you look down at your pancakes, still tired.
