"Wow... your house is really small," I couldn't help but blurt out as I stepped into Kuroko's guest room. My eyes widened in surprise at the tiny space.

"It's not small, Sera-san. You're just huge," Kuroko replied, sweeping the room with a small broom.

I sighed and sat on the bed. "Comfy, I guess," I uttered, trying to be optimistic about the situation.

The room was plain and painted in a bland shade of white. I looked around and wondered how long I would have to stay in this cramped space.

Kuroko suddenly appeared in front of me, holding a pair of earplugs. "What do I need these for?" I asked, confused.

"It's for your ears. I snore a bit at night," Kuroko explained, his voice calm and matter-of-fact.

I tilted my head, still unsure. "I mean, I'm sure you're not that loud," I said, trying to reassure him.

Kuroko sighed and then gestured to a large blue sleeping bag. "This is my room," he said quietly, pointing to the floor.

I freaked out, almost losing my balance. "What do you mean this is your room?!" I panicked, looking around the tiny space.

Kuroko shrugged, unfazed. "I said what I mean and I mean what I said," he replied with a hint of humor.

"Really?" I deadpanned, feeling a mix of frustration and disbelief.

He nodded quietly, and I couldn't help but shake my head in disbelief.

Gosh, this boy... I knew he wasn't rich, but I never knew he was this... whatever.

Standing up from the bed, I walked over to Kuroko and grabbed the sleeping bag. "I'll be sleeping in this, thanks," I said firmly, determined to make the best of the situation.

"But..." He started to protest, but I cut him off with a pat on the head. "It's fine, Kuro-chin," I said with a smile, placing the sleeping bag on the side table.

This'll do. The bed's too small for me anyway, so it's fine.

Anyways, you guys might be wondering how I got into this situation, here's a quick flashback.

~~~
Kuroko paused in his tracks, turning to face me fully. "What happened to your place, Sera-san?"
I let out a deep sigh, "It's complicated, though it's about me hiding my identity, and I didn't have enough time to find a new place so.."
Kuroko's expression softened, "I see. Of course, you can stay at my place. It's not big, but it's comfortable enough."
I smiled gratefully, "Thank you, Kuro-chin. I really appreciate it."
~~~

And that's how I ended up here. However, Kuro-chin had some errands to run before heading home, so I waited for him at the bus stop. I respected his business, you know.

As I glanced at the clock, I realized it was already dinner time. I looked over at Kuroko, who was still sweeping.

"Hey Kuro-chin, what's for dinner?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

He stopped sweeping and looked at me with a stoic expression. "I don't really know how to cook," he replied.

A moment of silence filled the room before I dramatically collapsed on the floor.

This boy is going to be the death of me someday. How does he even survive?!

He slowly approached me with his stoic face again. "I normally just eat ready-made food, like cup noodles."

I laid on the floor, looking up at him with worried eyes. Then, I got up and hugged him with fake tears. "You poor soul, you've been living like this without my guidance."

Damn, he's as light as a feather.

After a few moments, I let him go and asked him where the kitchen was. I then walked to the door and said, "I'm going to make the best dinner you've ever had!" I winked at him before leaving the room, leaving the boy alone to continue his sweeping.

Kuroko's POV

"I normally just eat readymade food," I responded to the red-haired girl.

As dinner time approached, I found myself lost in thought about what flavor of cup noodles to eat. Though I had already eaten earlier, I couldn't help but recall my encounter with Kagami-kun. Despite his mean demeanor, he reminded me so much of Aomine-kun that I was intrigued and wanted to have a one-on-one conversation with him.

Suddenly, I noticed the girl collapse on the floor nearby. I couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable knowing that I would be living with a girl for a while, especially since it was Sera-san.

I don't know why, but whenever I'm around Sera-san, I become stiff and awkward. Even in middle school, when we were friends, I would always stay by her side but never say much.

I was lonely when she stopped coming to our training sessions, perhaps because she was my friend before Aomine-kun.

As I approached her to help her up, she suddenly stood and hugged me tightly. I struggled to breathe, but I couldn't deny that I felt something different in that moment. Her warmth and closeness made my heart skip a beat. What was this feeling? Was I... No, it must be because I was being suffocated. I hadn't been hugged like that in a while, but it felt... good.

After a few moments, she released me and started babbling about me being a 'poor soul' before asking where the kitchen was. "It's downstairs," I told her.

As she left the room with a warm smile, I felt a slight pang in my chest.

I hate to admit it, but I wanted that hug to last just a few minutes longer.

I whispered to myself as she left the room in silence.

"More..."
