Beep beep bee—
I smacked my alarm clock as the spring sun shone through my room. I had already woken up before my alarm went off. I pulled out my uniform and watched myself in the mirror as I got dressed. I took a deep breath before grabbing my bag and sprinting downstairs.
I had been keeping my identity a secret from my family for almost a month now. Fortunately, my parents were away on a business trip, and I didn't have to worry about my brother, who attended Rakuzan in Tokyo and was always away. As I sprinted down the stairs, my servants were waiting for me at the front door, some of them holding my breakfast, lunch, and luggage since I would be using a dorm from now on. I couldn't keep this identity a secret forever, and I still needed to take precautions. Fortunately, they were playing along with it.
"Arigato, everyone!" I smiled as I grabbed my things and started walking out the gate. I bid them goodbye and started my journey to school.
SEIJURO'S POV
I woke up at 7 as usual, never one to bother with early mornings since school didn't start until 8 am.
Slowly rising from my bed, I saw my servants going about their daily routine of cleaning and opening the curtains.
"Good morning, Young Master! How was your sleep?" One of my maids asked with a beaming smile.
Covering my yawn, I replied, "As always."
They all bowed and presented breakfast in bed.
"Here's your favorite breakfast, Young Master." They placed a small table on my lap and handed me my utensils.
The plate was filled with a delectable dish, and I made a mental note to thank the chef later.
As they all bowed and were about to leave the room, I halted them and asked, "Excuse me... Where's Sera-san?"
They all stopped in unison, and one of them bowed to answer my question, "She has already left for school, Young Master."
I paused for a moment before nodding in response.
They bowed once more before leaving the room, leaving a silence behind.
Although we both reside in the same house, I have never had a decent conversation with my sister. All I could remember is that we used to play basketball together all the time when we were kids. She's the one who introduced me to the game. That's how our bond was formed. I have never gotten the chance to thank her for it. Even as time flies and feelings change, I find myself growing envious of how different her life is from mine. How she thinks differently... Is this jealousy? Perhaps. Or maybe it's because of that incident...

"Hey, you look like a bookworm. How about you join our book club?" A guy with a flyer started advertising his club to a timid-looking guy.
"This isn't even a book, it's a comic—" the timid guy started explaining himself, trying to avoid the four-eyed guy.
I pursed my lips as I scanned the area. People started whispering, especially the girls. "Who's he?" "Man, he's huge." "Is he foreign or something?"
"Hey! You look strong. How about joining the martial arts club?" A guy with a bandana on his head approached me with a smug smile.
I narrowed my eyes at him, realizing the height difference. I looked down at him and scanned the flyer he was holding. He sweat dropped as I leaned closer to read the flyer. I soon fixed my posture and said, "Sorry, not interested."
He flinched, backing away slowly. "T-Thanks anyways."
I started walking around, ignoring the whole encounter I just had. It's not that I'm mean, but I'm just too excited to join the basketball club, and I don't want any obstacles to pop up.
After a few minutes of walking, I saw a large guy holding a flyer in silence. I approached him and asked, "Hey, what club is that?" I pointed.
He looked at me in silence and gave me the flyer slowly. As I read the flyer, I began to get hyped up and smirked at him. "Where can I sign up?"
He slightly bowed and pointed to the direction where I should go. "Follow me..," he mumbled in silence.
Normally, a person wouldn't hear his voice, but in my case, you could say that I have 'strong senses.'
I followed him as we approached two people sitting at a table. They looked at me in awe as I stood over them. "H-Hey! Welcome to the basketball club!" The girl with short hair stuttered as she gave me a pen and paper to write on.
"Mitobe-kun, he's with you? Good job!" The girl gave the guy I was with a thumbs up.
So Mitobe is his name. Cool.
As I sat down on the small chair, I started filling out the form. As I started writing, I heard whispers coming from the booth.
"Man, he's as huge as that Kagami guy..." "Is he also foreign? He looks like one." "What could his position be?"
To be honest, I love getting this kind of attention, but if you want to praise me, you shouldn't compare me to someone I don't know.
As I finished answering the last question, I forcefully slammed the pen onto the table, which instantly silenced the room.
Everyone's eyes turned towards me as I stood up, towering over them with my red eyes glimmering in the dim light. "Screening?" I demanded.
The bespectacled young man who was seated next to the girl swiftly adjusted his glasses and replied, "Later at 10 o'clock sharp in the School's Gym. Don't be late."
The other students looked at him with a mixture of fear and admiration, but I found his audacity amusing. I responded with a smug grin, "I'm never late."
With that, I bid them farewell and made my way out of the booth, overhearing them murmuring about the four-eyed guy's ego. I paid no mind to their petty comments as I entered the school.
As I walked through the halls, I took in my surroundings with a deep breath, feeling the excitement building within me. "So this is my new school," I mused to myself.
"Let the games begin."
