Okay. fuck.

Edward is back. Not exactly a surprise as Venenifer already alerted us but still, what the fuck.

I sit on the sofa whilst Andria pace around the room thinking of our next steps. My heartbeat matching the rhythm of her steps. The card that Venenifer gave us sat right on the center of the glass table in front of me. In my life, I've made multiple wrong decisions, I am aware that most of my decisions would end up killing me one day and I just don't think right. But I swear to god the card there seems to be calling me, saying that I should pick it up and dial the number on it and join the mission. I don't think that is a bad decision.
right?
I clear my throat before I speak. My heartbeat getting faster than Andria's step.
"I think that we should --" Before I could complete Andria interrupts.
"No. No Evangeline. Don't say it"
"Join the mission with Venenifer and ambush Edward" I say it swiftly not giving Andria any chance to stop me this time.
Andria lets a deep breath out her nose. I stand up and walk to her holding her shoulders firmly. I don't blame her for being cautious. I think she is doing the right thing if I look from her perspective but I know that this decision she is taking is not something that we need right now, its something want. Right now, the only thing we need to do is get rid of our threat.
"Andria. We take this mission to get rid of Edward and save ourselves, Not to help Venenifer and get along with her. And anyways, This life we are living is so not us. We belong in a different world than this. The world where we can go nuts and use our skills. All these years you've missed that too, Don't deny it any longer. You want to go back. Maybe this is our sign?and if we don't feel the kick, we step back?" I look at Andria's eyes trying to guess what her answer would be. Andria bites her bottom lips and shakes her head while her eyes are shut closed.

"You will get me killed, bitch" Andria said.
Translation: Yes. fuck it. we doing it.

I turn back and grab my phone as I dialed the number. The phone rang thrice after which I heard "Tomorrow 5 am. Sharp." and the call ended. Venenifer was the same years ago as well, Straight to the point. I smiled at Andria and we both let a deep sight out our mouths.

This would be fun.

...........................

We are right now in our black suits inside the Headquarters. We are heading towards the meeting room. The same room where Andria met Venenifer for the last time. I can see some familiar faces that look at us with their eyes widened in shock and Many New faces looking at us with wonder. I am feeling like a celebrity.

This feels good.

Ever since we arrived, none of us had talked at all. An awkward silence was there the whole time. no words were said. It has become so awkward I feel the breakfast I had trying to dance its way out through my throat. We enter Venenifer's meeting room. Grey walls and no window to get some fucking air and weird white frames hanging in a pattern that are expensive as shit for no damn reason. At least not that I could understand of. Most of the space in the room is taken by the long table around which multiple chairs are kept. In front of those İ see the projector is already playing. Finally, Its good to be back. Same room, Same people, Everything is same except for the fact that before meeting once again after years, we all were living like strangers to each other. Now, That's some sad shit.

We all take our seats and Venenifer starts to explain the plan.

Venenifer starts to speak as the projector plays a different image of thin bald man.

"This person here is a known drug dealer. Louis Vins. He is a dangerous man with multiple connections with high profile people backing him up. He's been in drug dealing for years now. Edward and Louis will have a meeting soon enough. Edward as drug addict relies on Louis for the supply."
