Rule #1 When you meet somebody and you immediately get attached you'll either be best friends ir they'll betray you

Eleven year old Betty was sitting in maths class and staring out of the window looking at how the butterfly's were flying around and at the birds who were relaxing on tree branches.

She heard a knock on the classrooms door and got a little frightened. She jumped up a little, but tried to play it cool a few people turned to look at her and she heard a few laughs from behined her. "Come on Betty get your head in the game" she said to herself in a whisper.

She looked back at the door and saw the teacher opening the door "Oh hello there mr.Killian is there anything I can help you with." She heard her teacher - Miss. Abrams say. "Yes actually we have a new student and she'll be joinimg your class" The teacher closed the door and Betty could barely hear anything so she went back to her doodles.

Afew minutes passed when she heard the door open again she looked over at the door and saw her teacher come back in with a girl by her side.

The stranger had long, blonde, curly hair and electric blue eyes. And when the girl smiled it felt like the whole world lit up. The only word that came to Betty's mind was gorgeous. The girl seemed really kind and like she would make a great friend.

Betty smiled and sat up straight and fixed her hair a little. She looked like a baby compared to all the other students, because she was 2 years younger, but she was much more mature. She was bumped up two grades for being "naturally smart" which according to her is nonsense. She studied that's why she's smart.

Batty was starting to get bored when she heard the teacher start talking "We will have a new student joining us please introduce yourself honey" The unknown girl smiled and nodded "Hello everybody. My hame is Taylor. I'm thirteen yeard old and I love music I know how to play the piano and the guitar and I absolutely love country music I want to become a singer when I grow up" The whole class started laughing and Taylor's smile fell, Betty made eye contact with Taylor and she smiled. The girl immedeately looked more happy. "Thank you Taylor go sit down next to Elizabeth" Betty raised her hand and Taylor quickly walked up to the table and sat down.

"Hi I'm Taylor"
"I know you just said. My name is Elizabeth, but I prefer when people call me Betty"
"well then it's nice to meet you Betty"
"So you love country music?" Betty asked Taylor "Yeah I love it, it's really cool" Betty nodded "same" Both girls smiled and started working well Taylor started working and Betty continued to doodle.

"You should really learn something you have been drawing the whole lesson" Taylor suggested her new found friend. "Eh I don't really need to this is easy" Taylor looked at her confused "wait what? It's really hard" Betty explained the math stuff in simpler terms and even tho it was definetely easier to understand Taylor was staring at her so Betty snapped her fingers in front of her face and Taylor looked away "how do you know that? " Betty laughed and the bell ringed "come on Tay let's go" she took hers and Taylor's books and grabbed her by her hand running out of the classroom to the park nearby.

They both sat down on the bench laughing "so tell me where do you live at?" Taylor looks at her weirdly "Why do you want to know that? will you kill me in my sleep?" Betty smiled and rolled her eyes. "No you idiot I just want to know if we live near by eachother?" Taylor was about to answer when two other kids ran up to them. "Here you are you dumbass where were you?" some girl asked Betty "Oh who is this?" A boy next to the girl sayd.

"Guys this is Taylor she is a new student I was talking with her, Taylor these are my friends Augusta friends call her Auggie and that's Luca" Betty introduces them all to each other "Yeah but you will call me Augusta" Auggie said to Taylor and her smile dropped a little "Oh come on Auggie she's new and you're already bullying her. Excuse my sister it's nice to meet you" Luca said and Taylor smiled at him. all four of them started talking with eachother.

"Hey Tay will you go home with the school bus or is somebody picking you up?" Betty asked her new friend. "I'll probably take the bus why? " Betty grabbed Taylor's hand and they started walking away "Hey what the hell!! You're just gonna leave not even saying goodbye?" Augusta yelled as the girls were walking away. Elizabeth waved at Auggie not even looking at her while Taylor turned around and yelled "Bye Augusta I'll see you tomorrow!" Betty grabbed Taylor's hand stronger and started pulling her away. As the girls were running off into who knows where Auggie whispering something to Luca and smirked at the two of them.
