As the crew entered the train, they were welcomed by the conductor and nervous looking employee.

"Alright! Time to collect the tickets. Max, come along." The conductor beckoned to his employee.

The tickets were collected successfully, then the conductor left to his car to get the train ready for the trip.

Amy got to the front of the dining car and got everyone's attention.

"First of all, thank you for coming to my birthday! Your outfits are on point!" She beamed.

"Now, I will reveal the roles. I am the journalist! I'll be here at the dining car."

"Sonic! You are detective. You'll stay in here with me for an hour until the game starts." She fluttered her eyelashes at Sonic

"Rouge, you are the sheriff. You'll be stationed in the saloon car."

"Blaze and knuckles, you are poet and butcher, you'll be in the library."

"Espio and Shadow, you will be business owners, at the casino."

"Tails, you are the locksmith, stay at the lounge, and finally Vector, you'll be captain, you'll stay in the conductor's car!"

Amy announced the roles.

Tails P.O.V.

"These keys are a big responsibility. I wonder how I'll use them." I thought, looking at the keys.

I wandered around the lounge and enjoyed the chao band for a while. I tried to use the printer, but accidentally printed a black and white version of the desktop.

I visited Vector in his car cause I got a bit bored.

"Hey Tails!" Vector waved at me.

"Hello." I smiled.

The conductor was there too.

"I'm just here to give you a lock and a key, protect yourself and use it wisely." I beamed.

"Thanks Tails!"

"Who do you think is the murderer in your opinion?" I asked, willing to strike up a conversation.

"I don't know. You don't seem like you are." Vector speculated.

"You two seem too friendly to be the murderers." The conductor said.

"I won't say. Vector is a pretty tough guy." I said.

"Rethinking it, you might be setting me up for something Tails. That big brain of yours will get you far as a murderer." Vector said.

"As you know, there can't be a perfect crime! Hehe..." I rubbed the back of my head.

The car started flashing red lights. The conductor rushed to the controls, followed by some robotic hands.

"What's going on?!" Vector yelled.

"I don't know! Something is interfering with the train's smart systems!" The conductor panicked.

The train started speeding up immensely.

Before I knew it, I fell through the door and into the lounge. I hit my head onto a table pretty hard, I think I blacked out for a while.

I woke up to find the whole train in a wreck. Poor hands, they have to clean all the mess.

I got up to check on Vector, but it took me a while to get on my feet. My head was spinning like a whirlwind.

"Huh? The door is ... Locked." I tried to push harder on the handle.

I didn't have a spare key for the conductor car, so I had to wait for Amy and her birthday key to open that car.
