Eggman's robots

Tails' P.O.V.

I got up from my seat shortly after Shadow had left. It seems I'm a burden to everyone.

As I got to the lounge, I started hearing commotion coming from the conductor car.

The birthday key was on the desk, so I took it to open the next car.

I found the three of them in a massive fight with the robotic arms.

I opened the fox electric, and played an audio queue that stopped the connection between the train and whatever is controlling it.

The arms all dropped, dropping the conductor and Max as well.

"Thank you!!" Max wheezed pulling out his inhaler.

"Tails! You okay? You look... Tired." Knuckles said.

"Where's Amy?" I asked.

"In the closet. Why?" Asked Espio.

I turned around, no further comments. I locked them in the conductor's car with Amy's key.

I opened the locked closet to find Amy tied to a chair. She was mumbling to herself, her left ear twitching.

She started screaming in pain. "Help me! This thing! It crawled to my ear! It's electrocuting me!" Amy begged.

I played the same audio queue that disabled the mechanical hands.

Something shiny started crawling out of Amy's ear. It exploded just as it reached the outer part of her ear.

"Thank you! It was controlling me! Please believe me, I didn't do it! Is this how you treat a girl on her BIRTHDAY!" Amy cried desperately.

I looked at the parts of the little gadget. It looked like eggman's robots for sure. It had little electric shockers that could mess with the brain waves.

"Eggman was mind controlling you!" I exclaimed, trying to rip the ropes to free Amy.

I wasn't able to do so. "I'll be back."

"Thank you Tails!" Amy sniffed.

I got out of the closet to hear loud banging on the conductor car's door.

I quickly headed to the casino to find anything sharp I can cut the rope with.

I found a broken bottle of juice on the floor, I thought that it might be worth a try.

Shadow then barged in through the library door, like a parent who lost their kid.

He saw the broken bottle in my hand, his eyes widened with fear.

"TAILS!!" He growled at me, charging full speed towards me.

I got back to the lounge and locked the door before he could grab me.

He was so fast he almost grabbed me even when he started across the car.

I got near the closet to hear both of the doors crashing open.

"Tails? What are you doing?" Asked Espio.

"I'm freeing Amy! It's not her fault! An eggman robot was controlling her!!" I yelled.

They all sighed with relief.

"I thought you were gonna hurt yourself." Said Shadow.

"I thought you're gonna hurt Amy." Said Knuckles.

I tried to untie her but the bottle wasn't sharp enough.

Vector ripped the rope out freeing her.

"Thanks Tails." Amy sniffed, wiping her tears.

"I'm sorry." Max said. "I really blamed someone for something they didn't mean to do. It just fept so obvious. I'm sorry."

"It's alright. But what I won't forgive is that you believed him!" Amy yelled.

They all looked quite embarrassed.

We got out of the lounge and got back to the dining car.

Sonic was in a much better state. He was breathing and gritting his teeth in pain.

"At least we know his pain sensors aren't damaged." Rouge said.

"I am still confused, why's the lipstick mark there?" Asked Shadow.

"Get him to tell you when he wakes up. I'm saying nothing!" Amy crossed her arms.

I sat down beside Sonic, I grabbed his arm and squeezed a little.

To my surprise, he squeezed back. He was in a somewhat conscious state.

His breathing was heavy and short. His teeth were squeezed shut and his muscles would occasionally twitch.

"Sonic. If you can hear me, we are all so worried. We're waiting." I said, laying my head onto his shoulder.

"How can I make it up to you Mrs Amy!" Max was still trying to apologize.

"It was very brave of you to try and solve this case. It's alright, I don't blame you. I blame EVERYONE ELSE!!" Amy yelled.

"We apologize Amy." Vector said.

"Yeah, it was very wrong to assume that you did this darling, even though you obviously love Sonic more than an average crush." Rouge added.

Everyone apologized to Amy.

A while later, Sonic opened his eyes. I took my head off of his shoulder.

"Ugh, my head." He finally said something.

"Sonic! Finally!" I yelled, my eyes watered.

"Tails? How long have I been out?" He asked.

"A few hours." I replied, weeping besides him.

"Well I'm okay now, seems like I heal just as fast as I run. Heh." He patted me on the head.

I gave him a hug, crying on his shoulder.

"You were really worried, weren't you?" He said. "Where's Amy?" 

She slowly walked to him.

"What happened?" He asked firmly, but not in anger.

"An eggman robot climbed into my ear and controlled me into hurting you!" She explained.

"Tails, help me up!" He demanded.

I grabbed his arm as Amy helped me carry him to a seat.

Rouge passed him a glass of water.

"Sonic? We have a question." Blaze said.

"Since when do you wear lipstick?" Shadow mocked.

"Oh, that! Yeah, I figured I had ignored Amy for long enough, so because I forgot to bring her a gift, I let her ... Give me a smooch." He admitted quietly.

"Don't lie Sonic! You are the one who started!" Amy yelled.

"I SAID WE WON'T BE DISCUSSING THIS!!" He growled.
Amy giggled.

"Excuse me fellas, but I'm afraid I lost total control of the train!" The conductor said.

The whole train started glowing red, then yellow with eggman logos.

"Ahahhahaha! My plan worked!" A screen with eggman's face popped out of the ceiling.

"So you are behind this, egghead!" Sonic growled.

All this was his fault, I couldn't look at his face without thinking of every curse word I know.

I am not going to have a traumatic episode all for the entertainment of this FAT! MONSTER!!
