It was a summer afternoon and the colours of the town were more vibrant than ever. A month ago you had just moved into you're brand new house in this town, and had adjusted it to your style. You especially had an art studio especially for you're paints, canvases and well... EVERYTHING!

Y/N was designated in front of the post office, seated on their wooden stool they painted the colours of the rainbow on the window of the building. Biting their tongue in concentration they failed to realise that a certain someone had walked up behind them.
Once Y/N's paintbrush was off the canvas a voice broke the silence, "Hello, new neighbour!" The voice spoke, Y/N jumped and turned around to see who it was.
"Oh, it is you." Y/N calmed down, "Oh? You know me?" The yellow person with curly blue hair tilted his head curiously, "Of course, you're Wally right? I see you every time I come out, you're always talking with someone." Y/N smiled, "Well yes I am Wally, how come you never joined our conversations before? We're always welcoming to new neighbours." Wally smiled gleefully, Y/N chuckled "Thank you, Wally." Y/N nodded.
"Of course dear!" Wally cheered before glancing at you're art, "That is amazing! I see you have painted the post office!" Wally held his hands behind his back, glancing at your art than at the actual building. "Yup. It had a lot of colours so I decided to come and paint it. I hope the owner won't mind." Y/N hummed, "I'm sure Eddie would adore this." Wally grinned. "Is it finished?" Wally asked. "Nope, I just gotta do one more line." Y/N dipped their brushes in some red paint before making a clean streak on the last rainbow. "Now it's finished. It just needs to dry. Once I finish packing up it should be done." Y/N stood up from their stand and stretched their body.
"How's this? I help you pack up and when we take this back to you're home we show this masterpiece to Eddie?" Wally stared at the painting, "uh- sure! I could do with some help." You shrugged.

Once everything was at your house you and Wally were on your way to Eddie's post office. Wally went first and held the door for you to go in first. "Thank you, Wally." You said and walked inside, Walky joining you seconds later.
"Hello! You're the new neighbour I've heard about! I see you've met Wally." Eddie smiled down at you, "Yes I am! It's nice to meet you. I was just in here to show you this." You showed him the now dry canvas, Eddie gasped and gently held it with care, his mouth gaping at the detail. "Wow Y/N this is amazing! Look's like we have two artists in the town now." Eddie smiled towards Wally, "You're an artist too?" You smiled, "Of course! I've always had some sort of passion for art. It'll be nice to have a partner." Wally's half-lidded eyes closed to a nice smile. You rolled you're eyes.

"I would love to be your partner."
